A few years ago out near my rural home, the rising moon and patchy clouds came together to create the illusion of a UFO hovering nearby. My boyfriend and I panicked. I was running around looking for something to hang on to (grass? Roots too short. Car? No roots. Oak tree? YES!) so we wouldn't be taken up. After a couple of minutes of clinging to an old oak in terrified astonishment, the moon rose further and the illusion vanIshed. I had a fit of laughter picturing a ufo and me bumping along through Space, me still clinging to an oak tree with about half of California still attached to the roots. But I can't claim I'm not afraid of aliens now. I just doubt they're out there. As for fearing people, these forensics shows haven't made me more trustful, but that's a good thing. So many souls out there, lost to evil. The best we can do for them is not be taken. 💔💔💔

When the death penalty is the worst thing that could happen to them, people commit these type of crimes. Criminals only fear the the death penalty when they wind up on death row.
