Dear Mr Luna Scope, You were soooo good in this review that I was gobsmacked! You were very thorough, objective and charming, too. Don't underestimate how good you really are. I now know ten gazillion times more than I did before I watched this. You saved me a bundle.
Hey man, some really good comparisons here. Just a heads up, you're background music gets a little too loud at a couple points, which makes it a bit hard to hear what your saying.
Gerald Undone actually did a video about making your vocal pop over background music. Very informative. I still watched your video all the way through.
I wish there was something even better than the Like button to smash for this one. Just a fantastic, entertaining video that was by far the most informative led panel light review I've seen. Thank you for all your work on this!!
Hey man I appreciate that... it was one of my earlier vids... I actually have a 2020 version with some newer lights here if u are interested.... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FvsE52rPcV4.html
This is the best comprehensive review for small video lights. I subbed! Keep up the good work. I just got the p1, and holy crap it’s so much more bang for your buck than the mx. I think boling is going to smash the market.
Fantastic comprehensive review. The P1 goes for just USD$125 (regular price) where I am from, which makes it a massive value for money piece of kit. Subbed. Keep up the high production content buddy.
Really nice job! Engaging and fun, I saw the length and didn't think I'd watch the whole thing but you do a great job of keeping it moving fast and keeping our interest ;D
great video! and of course the P1 is a goto for versatility. Waiting for mine but own the MX which is really good. Thanks for comparing them all and hope this video will enlighten the right choice.
Thank you! As a result of this, I have decided to get two Lume Cubes. I really like the way you did it. The only thing I'd add is to include the numbers in the comparisons visually, so you can see the differences. It took me a second pass to realize how much brighter the Lume Cube really is.
I bought the boling P1 used it for 5 minutes put it on the charger and never worked again, in my opinion the BOLING P1 is the very worst of them ALL at $160 dollars might as well get the LUME CUBE 2.0 and put some cash in your pocket!!! LUMECUBE 2.0 $90.00 usd... GREAT REVIEW by the way thank you
@@LunaScopeJustin Well, take it from someone who has tried (and failed, I might add) to get a decent RU-vid-channel going for a long time.. You're doing great. ;)
I liked your second magic trick better, where you reveal that the Aputure MX maybe isn't as amazing as some youtubers want us to believe. I bought one before reading the full specs for some stupid reason. When I did, I realized the battery life is lame, and the light fall off is steep. I like the light otherwise, but those are very important features. I like the A7, but I don't like it's all plastic design, or having to also carry a battery. I Also bought the P1, and will be doing my own testing too. I most likely will be returning the Aputure MX. I wish you tested the lights from 2 or 3 meters away, but I appreciate the video, Thanks!
Really informative, to the point and sooo much info. Thank you! Just bought the M9 because of it's size to tiny rig with an RX0 Mk2 but time to get the Lume Cube Air for shallow scuba
Really liked the video for the comparisons. I have two of the apertures mentioned on the video F7 and A9 good combo but may look a brighter small tungsten addition as well.
This was such a great video of lights that I own and also others I’m always thinking about getting next. I have the F7 and will definitely get another. The Boling I’ve been thinking about for a while, and now with this vid the Boling will be my next. Thank you so much for this!
The F7 and the Boling P1 are my favorite small lights, I have two of each. I don't have an m9 but I'm sure it would be a nice addition. I'm looking forward to the new AL-MC from Aperture.
I am impressed with your honest reviews that include both real data-and the reality that competing products exist….. Example: the Lume Cube Air with a silicon gel has 40.5 lumens of light (I hear crickets after your statement of its implied underpowered worthlessness. And I laugh about that-after my shock subsides. I’ve seen other reviewers say that it can be used as a key light). I did buy the much cheaper “cube” competition for product photography-and I already have some Pixel G1s lights, that work well for me
Very informative video! I think I will get the MW light because it is waterproof! But it’s a bit heavy to mount it on a dslr! The M9 should be in consideration.
i know Im randomly asking but does anybody know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the login password. I would love any tips you can offer me!
@Josue Felix I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Great comparison video. Could you also take a look at the Sokani X21 Pro? It's got a massive 3000Mah battery and is supposedly brighter than the X21. Also has ability to change from 3000k to 6500k plus comes with a load of different colored gels. Be interesting to see how it compares against the aputure M9 and the MC etc.
@@LunaScopeJustin Awesome, I'll make sure I've got notifications turned on. Be interesting to see how it compares no one has reviewed the X21 pro especially not done a comparison.
I want a small light with interchangeable batteries like the 18650's ... Last thing I want to be doing when I'm working is waiting for some shit internal battery to charge up by USB ... am so tired of the built in batteries ... won't buy anything with them anymore....and that's getting hard to do, you have buy more "pro" level gear now to get a battery door.Your review was very good. Thanks.
I love it...I have another video Im going to be working on where I compare some more lights like the atom cube rx1 and the falconeyes f7 along with the new aputure rgb light so we will see how it holds up...but yes great light!
Yeah, it was one of my earlier videos...I actually have a 2020 small video light comparison here that should be better... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FvsE52rPcV4.html
LunaScope Film School Excellent, I’m excited now! I should probably wait until it’s out before I ask but I have a question and I’m impatient lol. I’m going to start filming simple videos again, either my head and shoulders or items on a table etc. I really don’t want to pull out my old lights with bulbs and umbrellas so I’m looking to buy compact video lights. Would any of the small lights you reviewed be suitable for a 3 point lighting set up? New subscriber btw 🙌🏽
@@AverageZoeBlogs if you are looking for just a straight 3 light setup... out of these I would get 3 Aputure F7s but if u want rgb I would get 2 and 1 Falconeyes F7 (coming next video)
Awesome comparison video.... have you tried the Moman Pocket Bi-colour light? Seems cheap and bi-colour but I dont know where it would stack up in this list... cheers
Nice overview. Just beginning to step up from a two-light system to adding hair light, background, accents and so forth, so this is helpful. Can't justify that Boling yet but it would be nice not to have to fool with gels. : )
Thanks for the great info on so many lights! Have you had a chance to test the AtomCube RX1 yet? Right now, I'm trying (and failing) to compare that, to the Boling P1, and the FalconEyes F7
@@LunaScopeJustin Unless the F7 has a similar feature, I think the RX1 could edge out a victory for me- that bluetooth mesh with app-based light controls looks like so much fun!
Thanks for doing this review, it is SO hard to get comparisons for these lights when every manufacturer measures it at either 1m lux, .5m lux or raw lumens. I'd rather not do a bunch of calculations involving light angles and inverse square laws and crap to get a decent measure of the brightness. Your video made me decide to get the boling, since i was already considering the f7 as a contender and the boling offers RGB too at not much more. Places high in a surprising amount of areas AND offers lighting effects like the luxli viola at a fraction of the price and i already paid almost as much for much less with my YN 360 II.
I’m surprised the MX was lower on your list than I would have thought. Couple of lights I’m now seriously thinking of upgrading to the f7 and the one with rgb, forgot the name, but sounds like an excellent combination
