You made few rules mistakes. When horde kill alliance, you get only one point for each race you attack. Not for every unit you kill. And I think towers stay on board when you decline. You remove them, only when you lose majority around region. Was something more, but I don't remember... in general good video 👍
Do you get a point for each individual territory you conquer that is owned by an opposing faction per turn or just one point per round regardless of the number of opposing faction's territories you conquered?
I also still love Small World a lot and I still don't find an area control game which satisfies that much. Maybe if you guys made a Top 10 on that topic? :-D The much loved Scythe bored the hell out of me as it lacks the abstract tactical depth that Small World offers and replaced it with an utterly shallow euro game resource counting. edit: And of course thanks for the review. My wife is a huge WoW fan and I still play Hearthstone, so I will have to get this soonish.
Awesome video! I played it with my cousin 1vs1 and we had si ilar problems ghihi! We are trying to get into a 2vs2 mode next time - guess team gaming would enhance it even more! I love this game alot and its super simple - and thans the abilities and races, its never the same :3
I like WoW and Small World so when my Sense check got Nat 20, I spotted the box and it began to whisper me closer. Joyful game indeed! ❤ In general what I’ve experienced is that any time a game arrives with a manual, it either makes or breaks it. Quite often I find myself pondering how variables are meant to work because the manuals aren’t as clear as they could be. Hence I chose to research how to develop manuals further. It’s been quite a ride and I can’t wait to share my findings - thru a game of my own design. 🥰
Doesn't the reinforcement die only roll on your final conquest? Because you may not have enough tokens to conquer? Or am I wrong? can you do it at any point during your turn??
I never played Small World. Yes, I've heard of it. But the international decline concept always seemed like a right-wing political concept. So, I'm not interested. The right wing always says the left wants to set the USA in decline. I imagine Trump supporters would love this game.
