The gorgeous creek with thunderous falls in the woods looks surreal. Ah, this is so amazing location, you are so fortunate to see that place in person. Thanks for this outstanding video

40 years ago I explored the old railroad tunnel across 940 from Devils Hole. At both ends of the old tunnel ( it's just a cut now) I saw carvings from " Watchman, Paradise Tunnel Feb 1888" . I can't remember the exact carved date but it was 4" or 5" tall letters and the cravings were quite professional looking. The best lettering was on the Swiftwater side of the tunnel on the wall facing Mt. Pocono . S. Bush

Fantastic video, WW. You were brave to get onto that rock. When you disappeared from the video, i was afraid you fell in! Mike from Out Naturing would like that location.

Hi Cliff, wow that was some power coming down from those falls, a very pretty area and a nice place to have a picnic and chill out. Thank you for sharing this lovely location. x

With the amount of water running through it, it looks more like a rapids, but you can see if the water flow was less, it would be more like a waterfall. Like you said, lots of power going through that spot. Thank you for all the interesting places you take us.

Well Cliff, you made it to Tobyhanna falls on a good flow day! Just down the road past the WaWa is another great walk: Thomas Darling natural area with a nice boardwalk complex & a small black spruce forest area. Check it out next time you make it back to the Poconos. You surely hit some of the best spots!

That scene of you sitting on the rocks with the falls flowing should be your next cover photo ! It oozes Pennsylvania. Around 6:37 in the video.

We drive past the Tobyhanna exit on 380 frequently and never knew there was a State Park so beautiful that close. Thanks for the video.

Beautiful and impressive. If I couldn't walk across the dunes to the beach here I would definitely be some where in the mountains by a creek especially since the world has gone mad. Stay safe and thanks f9r sharing your adventures with this old lady.

Wow! Held my breath there as you went to that outer rock! That bacterial slime on falls-rocks are slippery as heck! Thought you could maybe wash yer shirt by just hanging it over the edge - all that agitation from the flow! 😄 That water, we in the South call "blackwater" - ages of fallen leaves soak in the water of swamps, and work like a tea-bag - staining the water. Took a few trips to Poconos when I was a kid - way back before you were born. Paddling on the lake, picnics under the trees, open woods - good place!

What a nice trail, so clear and even stumps to cross the wet spots... The falls are beautiful.. The color of the water reminds me of the cedar water you find in all the ponds, lakes and rivers of the NJ Pine Barrens.. Thank you for another awesome video Cliff!!

Such a lovely area! If you like this and you have a chance to come to northGeorgia, there are tons of beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails: Amicalola Falls (there is a wooden walk and steps to the top - not for the infirm, but a spectacular view!). Anna Ruby Falls, Tallulah Gorge and more!

Wow that was impressive.. doesn’t matter how big or small a waterfall is beautiful. That one sure was and like you say such a lot of power, not a nice place to fall in. Thank you so much for taking me along. Please stay safe

Blackwater Falls in WV has water the same color. Packed with tannin. I wonder if there was ever a mill at that point. I can't imagine no one ever trying to place one there.

Beautiful, thank you for explaining the color of the water. I thought it might be the result of flowing through oxidized iron

Hi Cliff, My daughter and I only live 15 miles from there, so we went today for the first time. It was a nice walk and the falls were great. But the loop back ‘ Pine Trail ‘ - very official looking with markers and very well worn - had No Trespassing/ Posted signs. I’m going to email the park to see if those signs are legit.

Nice clear trail, love the section beginning at 4:22, big rocks and water, throw in cave and it'd be hard to leave for me. Agreed, it is impressive. Maybe the rest of the people are running wildly through the woods yelling "Not covering my face, fresh air, no arrows on the ground, I'm never going back!"

Cliff that's some mighty waters, seen pictures of the Great Falls in Maryland but never experienced those. People are seemingly need to be rescued-personally not a fan of 'rushing water's' bad experience as a 5maybe6 yrs. old,my older brothers in boy scouts had to retrieve me from some waterway??? Nice scenery tho, thanks for the vid.

What is the place that's out in blakeslee across from the state police building if you go back far there is a big water fall. I used to go there it wasn't labeled anything there was a small dirt lot to park in.
