I’ve never met a more calm minded, yet unbelievably competitive man than smallant. He will stubbornly fight while still being a good sport the whole time. What a champ
He was also doing it all for charity. He played such a good game just to have none of it go to himself and instead give it all to charity. More people need to be like him
The same cannot be said of XQC, when he lost he was so mad he ended stream then turned it back on again and went to do something else instead of sticking around like literally everyone else that was on the show.
I feel like Xqc and Smallant were one of the first to truly master the game mechanics. We absolutely need a S3 to see how far people like them can push the envelope.
@@dustychimp1171 Not in the same way. They all really had their own way of doing it. XQC's is probably the most interesting to watch because his chat size makes his strategy a lot more unique than just "have a lot of spies and guess" which is what the other 2 were doing
@@m_uz1244 The original comment says x and smant were the first to master the mechanics. Wubby used the same strategy as smant in his episodes final. Also in wubby’s episodes first rounds he literally did the same strategy as x because his chat was the biggest.
@Hamza Siddiqui 1:26:50 It doesn’t really highlight it on this stream. But if you watch the vod he doesn’t say a word. And if you watch wubby’s vod he freaks out. “I’m being told smallant is just not talking… that’s fine… wait no that completely fucks us he must have a secret stream fuck”
I think the best part about this is the fact that smallant, before the questions against xqc, said that it would all come down to a coinflip. And so it was, when xcq had to decide between mario and pringles. He truly is a prophet
I think this is the peak of hivemind. The titan that is xQc, the master that is smallant, the fan favourite Connor, and a Minecraft rep in halo. They're all champions already, any could easily have been in the grand final.
@@cottoncandylol7175 thats the gimmick.... But you can't always trust your chat cuz they like to troll There is literally no concept of cheating You can to whatever the fuck you want and that's what makes it so good
SmallAnt's idea of not voting anything is honestly so big brain. He makes others waste time trying to snipe from him, and focuses all his energy on yoinking...it's a curve ball that's really hard to beat
I appreciate that connor holds a SOLID dutch angle the ENTIRETY of the stream and brings a general uneasiness to not only his shot, but tension to the show in general. A true craftsman.
4:09 did small ant do what I think he did and have his chat vote agree knowing that this would easily go disagree so he could see what kind of influence he had? His reaction seems much more genuine than it would be for an obvious round like that .. like he was shocked to see they had that much of a pull when coordinated
Unless you knew that from his stream its insane you figured that out from this vid, but also 1000iq from smallant to find out how much he could affect the votes on an irrelevant round/topic
@@bemo_10 its more than that guy literally makes 5000 iq plays, I've watched his lockout races and the like he's either a master manipulator or he's deadass got one of the biggest iqs in video gaming.
And that's what spurred the "Glass" answer to keep floating around. Once he understood the influence he had, he was able to reliably have the chat keep voting glass as a consistent safety net. The game had been rigged from the start ;)
Well when I was a kid my brother put mustard on my hand when I was sleeping and tickled my nose and it got in my eyes. I think mustard is something everyone should fear.
@@Statsmat I was unemployed throughout Covid and would watch them for entertainment I guess. I also used to enjoy the old deception games like Secret Hitler and Mafia so I guess that could be a part of it. It was also interesting to see other peoples thought process trying to come to the conclusion that "X" killed "Y" but I get that a lot of people don't understand it. I mean there are people who don't understand how someone can watch a person play video games in general yet they themselves watch sports or cooking shows. Same concept but about something they don't enjoy or understand.
@@denisjon6873 I'd rather watch a video of/on Hitler or Stalin though. On a more serious note, are you really defending him over me not liking the fact that he screams incoherent nonsense while other people are trying to talk and then acts like a baby pretending that he "knew who it was the whole time" after accusing the whole lobby. Also you brought both "Hitler" and "Stalin" into a comment section(in the same sentence mind you) where they are irrelevant.
@@thrownsofaraway9978 Opinions are nothing. I get it, you like your little Dream SMP and Toast playing Among Us, but the fact of the matter is... xQc has been the most watched streamer for the past 2 years. You can act as naive as you like, but this is always brought up as he is just a personality. So you are here having him living free in your mind from over a year ago.
smallant's strat of barely pulling a lead in round one and then using the size of xQc's chat during the team round to slingshot himself into the lead was genius
Absolutely have Dougdoug on here for season 3. His chat works together like no other, and there are so many meme picks in his community he could go for as well
@@Psytheslasher how? this comment doesnt spoil the game at all, also how have people still not learnt to not read comments if you dont want spoilers...
@@ThomasonCG im not talking about this comment go read the others lol. I dont really care who won i just think its whack and a cop out to tell people to not read the comments on a show thats an hour and a half long.
@@weezy3701 as soon as I clicked on the video the top comment displayed by default on my phone said “smallant…” and didn’t matter how fast I changed my gaze, considering that was the top comment at the time of watching I knew the results before I started without meaning to read the comments. Not mad tho I still enjoyed xQc parts despite not being a fan of him.
@@Garrillagamer yea but I feel like whatever bot or person that smallant was using stuff like that should be banned. It should just be them and their chats
@@ojayc7443 there was no bots, smallant's mods were just heavily organized. I also disagree that using moderators should be banned since that would just come down to who has the largest chat. You can see that without that strat xQc would have won by a landslide.
@@ojayc7443 There was no bot, it was his mods just collecting data from the others. You can't ban the infiltration strategy because if they did xQc would've won, no contest. SmallAnt would also never use a bot, he's way too competitive and has integrity, look up what he does on RU-vid, he's an absolute beast. *Probably* the best gamer on RU-vid, if he stuck to one game he'd be at the top 100%.
@@ojayc7443 Bots can't even help anyway because what people type in the chats are totally different to the answers they put in the prompt. The only thing that would be unfair bot-wise would be if they have one that auto-spams in the answer prompt, otherwise it would be no use considering xQc and others get people to spam baits
I really hope there isn't a huge break between this and the next season! I absolutely love watching this gameshow it is one of the best parts of my week.
such a fun episode and a great end to season 2 of this amazing gameshow! also, amazing work from everyone behind the scenes putting on a gameshow of such high quality!
Poor Connor being sad, honestly he should've realised the situation he was in with the chat sizes and focused completely on "cheating". Smallant shows that it can be done. Connor was playing it like it was season 1, it's his loss
@@sankhya_0461 They asked him if he wanted the position before the show started, but they told him to wait after he said yes, and they gave it to Ludwig instead.
@@snurdburglar6854 twitch came to him asked him to do it, after he said yes, they replied and said that he was “too expensive” before wubby even gave a price. They went on to pick two of the largest creators on the platform instead. TLDR wubby is a brand risk and got big timed
I look forward to hive mind every week. Thanks to y’all and the team for bringing such unique (to the platform), creative and entertaining content to twitch and RU-vid both. So fun to watch how creators that don’t usually collab bounce off of eachother and showcase their personalities. Cant wait for season 3!
For season three, in round 2, you guys should have everyone team up at least once. Now, during round 2, players 1 and 2 can’t overtake one another, as can’t player 3 and 4. If the gap is too big, round 3 alone might be too difficult to close this gap.
I think putting smallant with x in the teams round is dumb, they're obviously the "stronger" players, so it just doesn't even become a competicion with the lead they gain
I love the memes, but nothing is more exciting to watch than people actually taking the game seriously. What an ending to the season. Couldn't ask for a better pair to compete :D
this is genuinely the best game show I have seen in my life. I'm honestly so glad every wednesday that it's on. It would be awesome to have a third season
Justice for Connor. His grand finals isn't counted in his point total on the leaderboard, and even if it was, he had two less questions and they were round 1 point values. Assuming we adjust the grand final values to match those of SmAnt, even two questions short Connor would be at 7030. Even playing fields, Connor would still be on top.
The final qualifiers round was BBH attempting to get answers in, none of which he guessed. Connor was just there trying a wild card, meanwhile Smant was running calculations and X was reading off the English dictionary like-
I literally stayed up tonight GLAD I DID. i was just talking about this and complaining to my girl that the season finale wasnt out bc i literally sit here and watch 100% of all the vods
@@musicdude1540 honestly not true. She's helped through alot and all that matters is that if your loved on makes you happy and cares for you. And it's not about looks that decides whether or no. It's about personality and what that person has to offer from the inside ❤
I have to say, I think Lud and Charlie should probably try to get one answer on the board every time or never. Otherwise it is just a big disadvantage when you go last if Lud and Charlie has guessed as well
Or when Lud puts major attention to a certain strategy that a streamer is using and basically exposes them to everyone involved. Definitely some unfairness to the game show, but alas it's the nature of Hivemind *shrugs*
I once thought I had SmallAnt beat, I challenged him to a foot race from our respective front doors to the light pole that was out the front of my house. At the designated time I ran down my front steps and crossed the 25m to the finish line and I thought I had won…. And then as I read the small commemorative plate, I realised it was a new light pole and the light pole that “was” in front of my house was replaced in the night by a council funded by “a concerned citizen” Next time, SmallAnt…..
