Smallman v Godin Guitar Comparison

Over the last couple of years I have been doing 3 or 4 gigs a week in restaurants and at weddings
I found that the classical guitar was not loud enough for these type of performances so I have been experimenting with amplifying the classical guitar.
I got pretty good results with the Smallman using a DPA 4099 instrument microphone but still had problems with feedback and resonation if the volume was too loud
I recently got a Godin Multiac Grand Concert Deluxe after seeing good reviews and have been using this for my last few gigs
This thing is incredible !
I can have it as loud as required with a crystal clear tone and no feedback issues.
I was unsure how it would record so I recorded both the Smallman and the Godin side by side as a comparison
Please let me know in the comments on your thoughts.

@@nataliemoore6215 thanks Nat I didn’t want to believe it as the first one was ten times the price of the second one

The Godiin is electric right? But the first one was only acoustic?

@@DavidLWhitehurst Hi David, It also is hallow bodied and acoustic but is designed to be amplified. It has 6 individual pick ups for each string and an lr Baggs lyric mic inside which you can blend with the pickups
