Lois’ eyes when Clark asks her to trust him...❤️ This is why Lois is Clark’s perfect fit, she never failed in her belief in him. She trusted him implicitly.
I noticed Here, and in Apocalypse AU, and with AULois in the episodes Luthor & Kent... She *always* Instinctively TRUST Clark! All he has to do is Ask!! 🤗😍 #Clois #Smallville
When Clark ran for class president Lana said he was someone everyone could trust. Lex, "Everyone can trust Clark Kent" when talking about Lex killing his dad.
I don't know...I think that this scene should have been left in. It adds depth to their relationship together. Especially to leading up to their momentous hug later on at the farmhouse, this scene showed Lois leap-of-faith in trusting Clark. The hug is not only seen now as an emotional-shoulder-to-cry-on for Lois because of Clark losing Lana, but also an emotional-thank-you. Lois believed in herself & Clark's trust to save Lana, to save Chloe, and reinforced her faith in Clark.
It's a good scene that at least shows us that Lois is aware her cousin is in hospital (something the final cut didn't show), but it's almost a facsimile of the AU scene from 'Apocalypse' just a couple of episodes earlier, where Clark asks AU Lois to trust him about Milton Fine.
MY OWN THOUGHTS ON THIS SCENE THAT WAS REMOVED FROM THIS EPISODE: After seeing this scene I decided I really like it. Now I wonder why was this scene cut out of this twentieth episode of Season Seven of (SMALLVILLE)?
