This is Part 1 of 7 of the entire Comic-Con 2009 Smallville Panel on Sunday, July 26th, 2009. The panel included: Justin Hartley, Erica Durance, Cassidy Freeman, Callum Blue (Zod), Allison Mack,and Tom Welling (co-executive producer), plus executive producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson. Hosted by Jeph Loeb.
Highlights: Tom gets a standing ovation for his 1st ever Comic-Con appearance in front of 6,000 attendees. Next year, we should be in Ballroom 20!!!
Apologies in advance, no video of the Season 9 trailer...security was tight and didn't want to risk it.

They should do a Smallville 2 hour reunion movie base it after the finale where everyone is and how it would evolve, the should do that for the anniversary is make a reunion movie, that'd be awesome.

Comic Con is an entertainment expo, aimed mostly towards comicbook business. But it's also directed to all kinds of other media coverage as movies, TV-shows, video games, etc. San Diego CC is the biggest Con of the year and that's why attracts the most media attention. The Smallville panel was awesome this year. :)

That's what it sounds like.. I think Tom even signed a contract that was suppose to go through Season 10, if they have one. Now that Tom is exec producing, maybe Season 10 is definitely happening.

smallville signed a two year contract extension mid way through season 8. however, season 9 has to do well on the CW or the show will most likely be pulled. so do your part and watch it every week!

I WAS THERE AND I MISSED THEM!?!?!?!?!??!! I WENT TO COMIC-CON AND DIDNT REALIZE SMALLVILLE WAS THERE UNTIL 15 MINUTES AFTER THE PANEL ENDED!!!!. I ALMOST SAW THEM, AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE TOM WELLING FINALY SHOWED UP TO THIS DAMN THING AND I MISSED HIM, I WAS LESS THAN 100yards AWAY AND I MISSED HIM. :-*( LIFE IS SO CREWL

COMMENT FRIDAY NIGHTS....I don't like the idea, either. Especially when others "claim" it's the "dead end" night. Not necessarily true ALL the time, like Brian says, X-Files was awesome as well as BG (they're still coming out with stuff). Let's just hope that they'll do an even greater job now that Mr. Welling is holding the reins a little tighter. After all, it is "his character, his show", he would want to produce something great for the fans to watch and love, right? I HAVE FAITH IN THEM!

i know he's not the greatest but better than the dude they cast for the movie a couple yrs ago...that was awful, it nearly ruined the whole superman image for me....and the girl who played lois was booooring...therer was no chemistry in movie at all....
