DC and WB are stupid for not using Smallville as the jumping point to the DCCU. 11 years before Man of Steel and 10 building the DCCU would silence all the naysayers that DC is copying Marvel. If something like this (video) can look as good as it does, imagine what could have been done had WB decided to hand Zack Snyder Smallville and fixing a few continuity issues before the final episode to place it on track to mirror DC canon and begin Snyder's interpretation.
