I was still recovering from losing my Dad when this episode aired. That was a tough one to get through. Wonderful scene though. I love when they show Lex in the background, despite the differences he was having with Clark at the time.
I find the decision to make everyone leave except Clark at the end of this scene interesting, since everyone else is mortal and will surely all die before him.
One of the best scenes ever from Smallville…in that entire scene at the cemetery, you can see all the major characters and you just knew…it was about to get good…real good.
This episode and this song went together so well. This episode among the ten season was the best. The heart break you feel just as these characters did was only out done by Lost moving on. This series kept us company in our long deployment in Iraq. We would binge watch 12 hours on days off. We all got so involved in this great series. Watching the series finale was like saying goodbye to a friend that kept me company all those years before in Iraq. It was like saying goodbye to that chapter of my life.
Interesting because someone pointed it out in another video I had to check here. Clark is always standing within the vicinity of an Angel statue at a funeral, as in the angel and him are almost mirrored
