It's just a, no pun intended, smart looking car. Nothing to flashy about it. Nice smooth, clean lines to the exterior and a tidy interior. And so good to have a drivers display _AND_ a head up display too. Something that the barren interior Teslas still do not have.
I’m lucky enough to have bought the Brabus on 4th October and have covered 2,000 miles. I’m in the UK so it’s RHD. Turn off all the beeps. 😂 Price here is £43,450 on the road with 3 years warranty and services & Mot all included and 8 years 125,000 miles battery and EV parts.
@@NevoEVReviewIreland no the beeps stay tuned off. Lane keeping does come on every time with no sound. Also The car defaults to comfort. If you set one pedal driving that stays on but only available in Eco & Comfort, switches to standby in Sport & Brabus modes. Wipers stay how you set them, lights default to Auto.
Lovely car with a very classy interior and what has got to be one of the best ever dash designs in a modern car both it and the #3 have brilliant dash designs and interiors. I still prefer the looks of the #3 on the outside but this is lovely too. However I do not like the red seatbelts or the Brabus version. I would go for a mid spec version if I was buying one.
Drivers instrument cluster looks small. AI assistant is well done. The red accents are not to my taste. Nice finish. To many sounds but I'm sure you would get used to it if not as often as on the test drive. Hope it can be personalised to to a single beep. Price will dictate everything. 10:21
Looking forward to driving it on Irish roads but I agree on the cluster being a little small. Red is all BRABUS style and yes, a very nice finish. The #3 is a step along in the software. This will be updated I'm sure.
Thank you for the review. This would do well as a replacement for my 2017 version of the Audi RS3, which I was forced to give up in 2022 (injury to an arm and shoulder). Likely to be a comparable price in the UK. The four wheel drive matters to me as I live in a rural setting. Obviously I like the power and acceleration. The finish looks great and the UI/UX much better than Mercedes own brand efforts. I would have to work out how to live with the software and the fox.
Hey Derek! I've been looking at the #3 and #1, at the end of your #3 review you say it's become one of your favourite EVs. I'm wondering if you like it more than this one, or are the very similar to you? Love the reviews/channel, been watching many of your videos the past 2 weeks haha. Keep it up!
Yes, I prefer the #3. In styling and in how it drives. The #1 is more practical with more headroom, sun blind, larger boot etc. Both are great cars. I advise test driving both and let me know
@@NevoEVReviewIreland thanks for the reply, good to know! I wasn't sure the drive would be that different so I'll definitely see if I can have a go with both. And I agree the #1 seemed more practical in the showroom, I liked the view with slightly higher windows even though the 3 looks a bit nicer.
@@NevoEVReviewIreland just to update I tried both and agree the Smart 3 is nicer after doing so. I prefer the design and how it drives! However Im actually going for the Zeekr X (im in the Netherlands) instead, as the interior just can't be beat by others in the price segment in style and quality, and I checked out all the competitors in person too haha. Felt like an amazing car, drove it Saturday too! Hope you'll get to try it sometime.
