quick question, i have thermostat (bosch) on the wall that turns on the heater. If i install the radiator valves on every radiator, with a max temp of 23 C and just turn the thermostat to 25 degrees C (max temp) the heating will turn off at 23 right? So i can just leave my existing thermostat and finetune with the radiator valves?

That would work however if all valves were off because they’d reached 23 your boiler would still be sending hot water round your heating just not into the radiators

Hi Mark, my boiler is only for heating, also only for radiators, so no floor heating or such. I have a warmpumpboiler for thot water. Would it work then? Or best to disconnect the room thermostat in the living room completely? Another question also, can you have different schedules programmed for each room? I have a big house and would like to have different temps on different times. Big thx already@@MarksTechVlogs

also I am planning to change all my radiatorvalves in my house with the meross smartvalves

Hey, what I’d do in your situation is have a schedule set on your normal thermostat for the times you want heating on and have your existing room thermostat set to the max temperature you’d want your rooms to be then on the individual Meross radiator valves you’ll be able to set schedules per room for them With the above setup as long as your heating is on then the Meross radiator valves will control the temperature of those rooms individually The main thing the Meross valves can’t do is trigger your heating to come on…the only heating system that can do this is the Tado system whereby the radiator valves can control their smart thermostat Hope that helps 😀

@@MarksTechVlogs Hey Mark, thx again for the reply. Problem is, the heat stays longer in the living room, better insulated, so the heat will not reach the desired temps in the roomsI think I will look in to the Tado system. Good thing you have reviews of it! Subbed!

Hi, how do you integrate these smart valves with the MTS200?
@MarksTechVlogs
@MarksTechVlogs 6 месяцев назад
You don’t…these valves have their own schedules but can’t trigger the actual thermostat on or off which means whilst they can let water into your radiators it’ll only work if the heating is also on. I believe this is due to open therm which I don’t know a huge amount about. Tado is the only system that I know of that has valves that can control their smart thermostat
