Check out another battery mod here, where I increase the battery life of my Razer Nari gaming headset! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mskodupTAwE.html
The OWCE (Onewheel Community Edition) app does report individual cell voltages. I'm curious to know if it works with VESC. I have a lil focker and box I need to assemble and install in an old XR but I don't know where to begin. I've modded over 100 OG Xboxes but I only have 10 minutes of soldering experience. I have wired car stereos though so I understand wiring for the most part. The main reason I haven't joined discord to finish my project is because I'm at a fork in the road. I'm not sure if I should upgrade the BMS and install an 84v battery.
Not sure how the owce app works but if it's just an app I'm assuming it's just presenting data the onewheel app obfuscates. If so, I don't think it would work with a VESC. Something like the ennoid bms reports cell voltages to the VESC via can, so can be monitored in the VESC app. The fungineers bms reports cell voltages over Bluetooth to a dedicated app. Battery voltage is a personal preference, but more voltage equals more torque and speed so that can't be a bad thing right? =)
