The commitment to support Indonesia’s industrial development is signified by the amount of local industries and companies that have implemented the Smart Industrial Park concept. The implementation is in line with Indonesia Industry 4.0 Readiness Indeks (INDI 4.0), which constitutes a standard reference for measuring the degree of readiness of a company in adapting into the industry 4.0 era. A large number of industries that have met the standard have applied 5 assessment pillars on the interconnectedness of companies with industry 4.0. To that point, several Indonesian companies have implemented innovative models to integrate the supply and demand for energy, water, waste disposal, logistics, and security for a variety of industries while synergizing in a sustainable manner by utilizing the use of IT and telecommunications (internet).
