I would like to have a short cut to switch off the Ei regulation in case of the over exceeeding speed limit. It is frustating to do it for each drive within the menue and the 4 deeper layers
Suggestions welcome, have access to recording cameras, night surveillance recording, being able to take out of the parking lot with the application, more details about trips and routes taken, kilometers traveled, more detailed consumption, various sound modes to choose from to improve the speaker experience, games and applications like RU-vid, Netflix, etc. when the car is stopped.
Yes more travel data would be great. I come from a hyundai kona electric and in the bluelink App you can See data for every Single drive with time, average speed, Max speed, Distanzen, etc. for last 2 months.
In my opinion this is a small update. Only vehicle to load is a real enhancement, which was already available in Malaysia I believe. The static avatar can be an improvement if the moving avatar grabs your attention too much in the corner of your eye. The low regeneration can be nice for coasting in some situations, but in that case it should be switchable from the steering wheel
Hi~ This is Cody from Hong Kong. I would like to see a couple of new features for all Smarts in Hong Kong: 1. Allow OTA updates - currently it requires all owners to drive back to the service centre and wait for at least 4 hours, which is ridiculous. Moreover, the centres locations are not really convenient at all. 2. Introduces more features for the Hello Smart app - it would be great to see functions like adjusting charging speed (A), as in the centre display, and digital key in Hello Smart. Thanks for your time. Smart #1 is a good car at all. ❤

I struggle to understand some of the comments posted regarding the constant, very much appreciated updates? Having suffered the ‘pain’ of an MG4 and its appalling interface (don’t even get me started on the dealers🤦🏻) Smart continuing to listen and improve the driving experience of their products should surely be celebrated? Even if one thinks they’re irrelevant better to have the option of turning a function either on or off - I’m all for it? If anyone happens to stumble upon this text, when will the update be available in the UK…?
I agree all the updates no matter how small are awesome to someone. I can imagine families and children loving the avatar options as an example. Smart do very thoughtful updates

Please Integration Navigation data into speed recognition. I drive the Autobahn and it says speed Limit is 60 because it was the last sign it saw. Its so frustrating.
-Option of removing the avatar all together would be great for those who want a more serious looking OS. -A sentinel mode that activates when the sensors and cameras pick up movement would also be great. Even better if there wa a way to record video or snap photos. -Improvements to the overall range would make this machine perfect.
V2L is a good start. Is V2H also coming or does that require special hardware? As already mentioned: Enable most of the assistents when having a trailer/bike rack attached would be very helpful.

we don't need a sound mode and different sounds for the car, we don't need a change of avatar, what we need is in trailer mode, when you drive the car with a trailer, that the cruise control is active, i.e. the cruise control
Und wenn schon den Avatar ganz abschalten und das generelle Hauptmenu individuell anpassbar machen. Anstatt die Weltkugel, soll beim fahren z.B. eine kleine Naviansicht drinnen sein (siehe Tesla)
Mich stört auch die Deaktivierung der assistenzsysteme. Ich fahre sehr häufig mit dem Fahrradträger auf der Anhängerkupplung und da hätte ich gerne den Tempomat und Abstandsradar. Das die Ultraschallsensoren beim rückwärts fahren nicht funktionieren, ist ja in Ordnung. Alle anderen Funktionen sollten doch weiterhin aktiv bleiben. Bei VW geht es doch auch
I’m also still waiting. I thought today was the day but it was Spotify that was update. Sigh. The release notes for the update were from May 2024 so two months so far and going into the 3rd month.

Four and a half months wait for that! Whilst I appreciate the ability to turn off regen so I can coast, the rest is just glitter. PIN code to drive so we aren't having to hide our remote keys in faraday bags. CarPlay navigation showing in the HUD. A Better Route Planner (ABRP) native app. A setting so we can wear sunglasses without being nagged continuously for not paying attention.
One more thought, is the update available on UK #1 Pro + vehicles? V2L is the one function I’ve been most keen to arrive. Any update would be greatly appreciated…x
Arrrr...my Smart#1 Pro+ hasn't updated to EU 1.4.0...sooooo frustrating as I really need V2L compatibility for camping this year. Better try the forums...
Has this been released yet in the UK. My car still shows 1.3.2 is the latest. What’s the hold up releasing this update it’s been a month since the update was released.

Hello @marktakethat, The main phase of the update will begin shortly. Similar to previous updates, the main update will be uploaded to the server in batches. The exact timing for when a particular vehicle will receive the update depends on several factors, including car usage. Please note that the car must be active and connected to a working 4G network to check for update availability and initiate the software download.
All well and good, but Smart Support hasn't been able to install an update for 4 weeks. Now the car can go into the workshop for two days for an update!

Ok # gang in the UK just received Smart OTA Update 1.4.1 EU and not 1.4.0 EU ❤ downloading now with more features.. 1. More accurate battery health calculation. 2. Increased battery performance during cold weather or low state of charge. 3. Enhanced climate system performance in cold weather.
Ok so I'm in UK and have just downloaded update. It's not 1.4 but shows 20.33. I know you guys haven't sold many smart #1 here but would've been nice if we got the same updates. I don't think V2L is available as don't see it. Please clarify.
I’m in the UK as well when was that available ? Mine still showing the 1.3 version as being up to date. I think nearly 3 weeks in and the update above that the video is asking you to download now for new update is the greatest marketing ploy.

after OTA is loaded, the car is locked and key does not work anymore. You have to open the car feom the application. You better remember your application password or you're in trouble.
Come on Smart what is happening with this download we are now getting through our smart app that a newer download has been released my car is ready and to update download now OS 1.4.1 EU we haven’t even been able to do OS 1.4.0 EU from its release back end of May….what is going on ??

Als we met de fietsendrager rijden functioneert de adaptieve cruise control niet meer, dat is erg irritant vooral omdat je juist met de fietsendrager vaak langere afstanden rijdt en dan graag de cruise control gebruikt. Tevens is het frustrerend dat je elke rit de "automatische snelheidsaanpassing" en het "controlesysteem voor bestuurders" uit moet zetten. Het zou beter zijn als de laatste instellingen onthouden zouden worden. De auto rijdt heerlijk maar deze, bij elke rit terugkerende irritaties, is voor mij reden om deze auto nog niet aan te raden.
