Just use your calculator then. This is actually what and how other countries teach their people to do math. Makes 100% sense, unless you don't want to, or can't waste ink or your pencil.
@@McDagger0827In my country India, multiplication is generally done in our mind . We would not use pen-paper to calculate such an easy question like multiplying 123456 with 2.
I solved it like that: (i changed it from 2 to 1.) 1+11+111+1111+11111+111111= then i started solving from the highest number like 111111+11111 122222>123333 and at this point, i realized i just could say 123456 then i needed to double it and i did this “100000=200000; 20000x2=40000; 3000x2=6000; 400x2=800; 50=100; 6=12” (i just chopped it to pieces) now we just solving this “200,000+40,000+6,000+800+100+12=and now i wont just solve that, why? I can just say their first number like 2, 4, 6 etc… (except the last one, and 800+100 part) answer: 246,912

This actually works. The 1 version is 123456, the 3 is 370368, which divided by 3 is 123456. I assume the numbers after are also correct but im not going on my calculator anymore.
