I don't care for smart watches and have almost all notifications turned off on my phone and my phone is always on silent. I value peace and my time over anything else and I cannot stand how some people are so addicted to their phones/watches. Especially when they are having an in-person conversation/hanging out with people, and you see them constantly on their phones and reacting to their smart watch notifications, it is rude for sure, IMO.

It has always been rude to look at your watch when you are in a conversation with someone. Now people value every ping and buzz from their watch and phone over human interaction. It’s rude and sad.
