I decided to test the auto track feature in Moza Mini-Mi gimbal for the hyperlapse effect. Check out the results :) For more info on how to do that, visit my blog: beyondthetime.net/smartphone-...
I like the tracking idea. Here’s another idea that I’ve been thinking about. What if your phone had a hyper lapse app that triggered each photo based on the distance moved (using GPS) instead of the interval? Combine that with the gimbal tracking and you could just walk along similar to your using video but you’d have full control over shutter speed. I’d be surprised if someone else hasn’t thought of this. Have you heard of an app like that? P.S. I’m subscribed to your RU-vid channel now and exploring your past videos. I’d love to find some tutorials about how to plan a hyper lapse shoot. I don’t know if I have the patients to shoot for eight hours like you did on your Kraków piece.
