Pricing is a big point . I think everyone aware of this . In 2014-15 Pebble watch was called as smart which made the watch connected to a phone through bluetooth. Compared to that in 2023 a watch with heartbeat sensors is a good thing (may be health band) . I think these assembling companies are doing a great job . I see people buying iwatch and samsung watch and using it just as a status symbol and main use for them is also work as a health band. Not really using as a mobile . I don't think it will also work enough number of years for it's pricing. ecg feature of iphone is the only thing which made me mesmerized , it makes sense to buy that watch just for that.

As long as fitness tracking is good I think people will be happy. I personally use a smart ring since I love my mechanical watches. Much more practical.

For status symbol go for G shock, Tissot, Titan, citizen etc. I don't think smart watch give u any kind of status symbol. If u need a smartwatch, go for Samsung if u r a android user otherwise apple watch, simple. I know this issue from the beginning, that's why I avoid all cheapest smart watches also I more interested in automatic watch

WearOS battery backup is pathetic, battery technology and user interface needs to improve a lot. Apple Watch no doubt is leaps and bounds ahead. Pakshe cost is too high and out of reach for many. Also apple iOS is required. Under these circumstances smart band use cheyunathannu nallath.

Disadvantages: Concerns about the screen scratching easily. Regular charging is required. Uncertainty about its long-term durability compared to a similarly priced, durable Titan watch. While it claims to be waterproof, it may not perform well in heavy rain. The "raise to wake" option is not preferred; a regular watch is quicker to read the time.
