Shady Durags And Mario is the one who is giving Luigi the trophy... right after he steps on his foot like he did in Tennis... but it's all okay because he knows he will never match up the the uniqueness and specialness as his younger brother, no matter how much he tries to be number 1!
AI always behaves like their opponent is going to fight back at any time. funny to see how cautious they can be around someone who does literally nothing
Kieran Ford if you don't hack you can't write your player's name the same colour CPU is written, when you choose which character you're gonna use the player one can choose not to fight, and place a CPU instead of it, i've tested on SSBB, and assume this works the same in SSB4
People on For Glory always go for offense. One time I used Roy's Counter nearly the whole match, I barely got hit. Of course I moved and I used other moves as well.
***** * cough * kaizo mario * cough * * cough * those levels in super mario maker * cough * * cough * the perfect run super mario galaxy * cough * okay I'm done
Kaizo Mario is obviously made by players... Mario maker is also made by players... Never got that far in galaxy, but from what I've heard it's the hardest Mario has ever been...and it's still not as hard as, say, beating a secret boss in a final Fantasy game.
I have a quick question. What is your favorite smash character? Mine is actually Luigi bc I would always play as Luigi when my brother would play as Mario
No matter what game, what world and what opponent, the force of nature that is Luigi doing nothing can't be beaten. Still, at least those level 9s were cleverer than most For glory players.
Hotsex spy Quite sad....isn't it? They go to tournaments since the Gamecube era ( that's a lot of years ), and the new players hop on For Glory thinking they will become good in the first 10 matches then get depressed and forget about it.
I actually agree because I was playing against a robin spammer all he did was use his neutral b then he would roll then when I got near him he would spambot again then after the match he put this name DA NEW M2 KING
Before everyone bashes the AI, just think about how many tries he had to do to make the AI do what it did to kill themsleves. These situations are very convenient most of the time, and that would mean that he had to retry and retry countless times before getting them to murder themselves.
Also, the AI seems to have trouble with a couple of stages in particular. The Pikmin stage and the Kid Icarus seem to flummox the AI due to the destructible elements on the stages
That's my boi Luigi. He is so good at mind-games that he even psyches out computers. Every move planned with deep psychology, they only kick him where he wants to go, soaring through the air like a defensive angel.
I think the techniques that the CPU players "know" are primarily effective techniques when a player is moving around in standard gameplay. They're not making decisions based on considering probable outcomes, they have a series of decision making paths that involve jumping around in dynamic ways - because that's what generally works the best in most situations. So yes, Luigi's lack of movement is affecting their behavior, because their technique relies on changing player movement in order to be effective.
Thank you for actually trying to explain the reasoning behind the A.I. behavior instead of making the same stupid jokes about Luigi being "teh ultimate battlez boy" that everybody else in the comments is making.
Okey, i think you didnt see the description , so here : That just a brawl myth, the cpu cant do that, it only have a frame-perfect reaction, so doing nothing will not make them better or worse. The real reason here is that the cpu has a terrible stage awareness. I know you tried to explained, and i respect that, but that myth was debunked over and over, so i dont blame you. (Sorry if you feel this as an angry comment trying to feel better than others correcting their mistakes, i dont know how to make it look the other way).
+CarlosG 0619 they are hard to fight in this game, it's just that they also are cautious and try to "predict" your movements. so by not doing anything, the ai jumps and moves to places it doesn't need to
Now I want "Luigi wins against every level 50 amiibo by doing absolutely nothing". I'm saying this as a joke but you can take it seriously and I'll enjoy it. :P
Mario: Luigi? Are you still in there?! Luigi: I have seen it all. I have suffered. I have seen true death and still managed. Mario: W-what? Luigi: I also beat the toughest computer players by staring into their souls. Mario: Can you uh... do that to Bowser?
This is funny cause I used to Have this version of 20xx melee where the CPU file was corrupted and everytime Luigi was a CPU he always killed himself. Nice to see hes getting some redemption.
Also, as an AI programmer myself, coding the AI for this game seems like it'd be a monster of a challenge with all the wack stages, wack items, and wack characters. Everything in this game is just wack.
Here we see Luigi in a state of deep depression. He is so depressed that even his "Lets-a go" catchphrase is said in a defeated fashion and can evoke a sense of sadness into anyone that hears it. Luigi attempts to commit suicide by smash here but, the universe taunts him by not allowing him to move but, only to witness death over and over again for eternity.
Wisdom Speaker me I mean I won a balloon battle in Mario kart 8 without doing anything (last guy hit himself with his green she'll trying to aim for me and I didn't move)
doesn't matter which level they are and which super smash you're playing the CPU still suck but i think in the number 2 (melee) they were a bit stronger
Omega Tyrant That I see, but the floating platform? I swear she landed on it at 5:11 or at least grabbed the ledge, but she just... whiff... like Wizard of Oz for the SNES.
Omega Tyrant I see now. And after playing it at 0.25x speed, I see that she didn't actually land on the platform, she passed through it from the side. Thanks for clearing that up.

+Sonia Martinez "For those skeptical of these being level nines go, view this video, which shows all the replay data for these matches (and accompanying clips), that show they are level nines ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xunf5xiKasA.html"
it doesn't matter wich character you pick. But "beating AI without doing anything" is always done with luigi, it's kind of a running gag/meme. But i guess you need alot of patience, lvl 9 will not always kill itself if you stand still.
