What an awesome episode.. good info. I'm a rockhound and my perfect sample size is about the size of my fist. Something that's not too big too carry a few of them but big enough you can see all the characteristics clearly. An episode I would love to see is a discussion about quartz and covering what conditions cause it to form as chalcedony, chert, etc.
