Smash Bros Lawl Beatdown Double Moveset- The Thwomps | Kiran 

Double the moveset double the enjoyment! I do know these incarnations of the Thwomps from old videos on Newgrounds, so it was pretty cool seeing the duo become an unlikely powerhouse in Beatdown, with an Ice Climbers like tag team mechanic. I like the function of the GameShark frame as a way to make a sneak attack on someone, and also the blocks acting like an extra platform. As for Kiran, I like how elements from Fire Emblem Heroes are implemented to make her stand out a lot more than the Fire Emblem characters in Smash, using things like the dragons to aid her.

Shad, good lord there's so much here- You have made me immensely happy as a FE fan, thank you so much, aaaa- You can represent so many characters with a moveset like that, it's like one massive love letter to all things Fire Emblem. Honestly, the playstyles of both characters here are really varied, from a heavy ice-climber-esque duo to a team-assist focused character; ya did a fantastic job and I can tell just how much dedication and love you put into them. Plus, the lore and character interactions were absolutely on point! Strong Bad and John's interactions had to have bene my favorite, but Edd and Matt gave me some good laughs too. This was one heck of an April Fools, get some rest man; ya earned it

With the title, thumbnail and intro, I thought this was going to be a very long lore video, which would have been cool regardless. Instead, not only we had a lot of lore, but two new movesets! First of all with The Thwomps. They were completely new territory for me even though I have seen plenty of old Mario parodies from the Newgrounds era. These two seemed to be rather fun judging by the moveset and inspiration clips! I loved how they are very slow characters and heavy characters but with a rather great recovery and a moveset based around setting up the stomp. As "that kid who plays as Kirby and does nothing but Down B", I feel these two will be right up my alley. Also, can I just mention Vriska's throw? The fact you made that moment into an attack was amazing. But the one moveset that really impressed me here was of course, Kiran. I just got into Fire Emblem Heroes (thanks partially to you) and this moveset could not have had a better timing. This is pretty much playing Fire Emblem while playing Smash Bros, and I adored what you did with the summons being taken straight up from the summoning colors in the game. Every single class, from the main weapon triangle, to the different mages and even secondary classes like Staff and Dagger users were in here, and the variety of heroes you can get from all the games is wonderful (bless you for including Mia). And did you really have to assemble all those sprites? That's a lot of dedication. Really, the only issue I had was how the Inspiration Clips missed the "Inspiration Clip" text, and that was most likely some rendering error. Really amazed with this double-deal, dude!

Oooookay where to even start with this. So, starting off, the lore segments here simply makes me appreciate them a whole ton more. They're genuinely funny and well animated to boot-- they're so integral to Beatdown that I'm so glad we got something more silly out of it. So with these movesets- the Thwomps were very creative with a very strange concept. An Ice Climber pair who act as heavy hard-hitters? Sign me up! They fulfill their playstyle so well, and their dynamic makes them probably the most unique characters in Beatdown. They are on the simple side, but the Twhomps were simple enemies so it works. Now onto Kiran. I'll be real, I don't have any interest in Fire Emblem, as it doesn't stand out at all and the gameplay doesn't appeal to me. However... holy hell I *love* this moveset. I genuinely think you represented the series better than Sakurai has, because this moveset shows off everything interesting the series has to offer. You might've heard this a lot, but seeing such a variety of characters jampacked in this single moveset actually has me interested. There is so much more to Fire Emblem than a bunch of Japanese swordusers. On top of that, I easily got a feel for the game Kiran comes from; you acquire powerful summons and use others to advance forwards and break through enemy lines. Easily gave the game and the whole franchise justice. Your passion for the series is clear here. Overall, lovely double moveset!! I'm glad to see more than jokes during April Fools. Can't wait for you to add Spring Chrom :y

This is probably going to be the best april fool's video we get. Man, how many times can I say how high quality these movesets are until it get's repetitive? You've got such the perfect blend of fighters.

I don’t know much about Fire Emblem-especially Heroes-but regardless, you seem to have captured Kiran’s essence spectacularly. Well done as always, ShadBad, and I wish you a merry April Fools’ day. Maybe as some lawl supplements, you can do rival cutscenes for a pair of chars, like in playstation all stars battle royale. One matchup could be something like Edd vs John Eggbert, both main protagonists of popular online web series. Plus, maybe making them non-canon to not affect the current lore of the series

8:02 Surprisingly I’ve thinking of a moveset for the summon (Kiran). This isn’t for Lawl though its just for smash in general. The basic Idea I had was this: The summoner would summon various Fire Emblem characters to assist them. However it isn’t predetermined. Like in FEH theres a few summoning stones, each of different types (Red, Blue, Green, and Grey). However also like in FEH the type of stones are randomized, so your summons are a bit unpredictable. Not to worry as the hero you summon from each stone will be the same, so unlike in FEH no praying to RNGesus that you get that 5 star Hector. Each Hero summoned would only appear for a minute or two, in that time you control the heroes action (because the summoner is a tactician). The Heroes can do the following: Neutrals Jabs Grabs Side B Up B Down B (Neutral B is summoning so that would just dismiss the hero) Now thats not just to say that the summoner is ALL heroes and no work. The Summoner can still attack on his own, however his Side B, Up B, and Down B, are all quick hero summons (ones that aren’t in the stones) that assist him. Up B: is a flight type hero (I don’t remember an example sorry) that quickly rides The Summoner up to the stage/safety. Side B: Camilla comes out and does a quick yet powerful slash before retreating (think Zeldas Phantom). Down B: Celica comes out and puts on some protection/shield magic (does that even exist in Fire Emblem?). Giving you a temporary shield that makes enemy attacks do less damage. As stated previously Neutral B is just summoning. But maybe I should expand on that a bit. Like in FEH you are given 6 random stones, you choose what stone to summon like you choose Shulks Monado Arts. Here are the 4 mains heroes you can summon from the stones: Red (Sword): Alm Blue (Spear): Ephiram Green (Axe): Hector Grey (Neutral/Bow/Spellbook): Brave Lyn (a variation of Lyn exclusive to FEH that happens to use a bow) Thats about all I can think of at the moment. Maybe Taunts and Final smash can come later. Idk.

Here's polnareffs Moveset B: stand rush (inspiration clip basically every polnareff fight) it's a simple multi stab attack but if you use it in the air it slows your fall. Side B:rapier shot (inspiration clip polnareff vs chaka) silver chariot fire it rapiers blade in the direction that polnareff is facing and it can bounce off any solid object and if it get destroyed it returns to polnareff. Up B:stand leap (inspiration clip m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r5OuO-hcu_k.html ) polnareff leap into the air and strikes the ground and/or enemy but polnareff will leap off his own stand if in the air. Down B:no armor (inspiration clip m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mmuz_mviwaE.html ) silver chariot will removes it armor to have higher speed but there's a catch if you do this than you'll take more damage. Final smash: double beatdown (inspiration clip m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qp4jtmdbxDQ.html ) jotaro kujo will appear and use star platinum to beatdown the enemy with polnareffs silver chariot and afterwards jotaro will disappear
