I still have it, I had it on my old phone but recently installed a mod that required me to uninstall it. So far I'm stuck on Checkpoint 4 in mayhem mode.
i literally use it for everything: working, sleeping, gaming, chilling... basically it’s been looping on my speakers for many days straight without pausing
This has to be one of the most unique soundtracks I've ever listened too. Certain parts of the song make you feel somewhat excited in a way, but it's also really good for working at home or doing college work because it immensely helps you concentrate.
There are some of these tracks that just feel like this perfect mix between something Stephan Bodzin would've made, and the Peggle soundtrack. And that's a compliment, because both are awesome.
I've been listening to this for years, it's such good study music for when I need to focus. I love the sound selection and how rhythmically pleasing everything is. Brilliant creation.
If there’s one game that deserves the attention it ended up getting, it was this game. The simplistic mechanics, the graphics, and that goddamn soundtrack too just made something LEGENDARY.
man i remember in 2015 my whole friend group would play this game one at at time on my phone at school :) this gives me so much nostalgia but its also a great study music too , thanks !
My all memories about Smash Hit is the speeding at 6:40 and the falling down at 9:51 though I've reached the final chapter. The OST beat and the game rhythm at the point could pull me out of the reality.
I think the reason 24:17 Zone 9’s Final Theme has a sense of closure and finality is because it was originally the end of the game (transition to endless mode) before Zone 10 and 11 came out.
Currently my most favourite soundtrack. One of my favourite games too (I reached over 13100 metres) and I use this soundtrack for studying. One of my favourite parts of the soundtrack - 22:08
When I was a kid I always used to play this game just to listen to the music, and finding it again on RU-vid is really awesome, thank you for uploading the childhood of many of us. Checkpoint 1 is my favorite.
Checkpoint 3 is a big-favorite of mine, the start is a bit upbeat and gives the feeling that you’re gonna have to constantly keep throwing balls if you wanna continue. The theme gives off a chaotic but good vibe, and the rest is just beats to show that you passed the level, but you’re not done.
Tbh , i was thinking of a concept of Checkpoint 12 , of it changing directions and a new power up that rewinds time which would be hard to get and rare to find.
I have known this game since i was 4 years old and that was nearly a decade ago now. I loved every bit of this game and i find it devastating that the creators abandoned such a great game. The music is so calming and relaxing to listen to. the game isn't intense and its just easing and fun. I miss being a innocent little child.
