There's one follower that is beyond crazy called Skeever, a dude that has over 16k lines of fully voiced dialogue, he is also extremelly lore friendly. The MA wanted to make Skeever interact with Inigo, Vilja and the other major modded followers but sadly he passed away.

I recommend Gore, Redcap, and Xelzaz in addition to the 4 you mentioned. Gore is a walking Guts reference, but he has a lot of well-designed characterization. Really well voiced, too - he has unique dialogue for literally every cell in the base game. Honestly, I personally prefer having him around over Kaidan. Redcap is a magically altered Riekling, captured and experimented upon by a witch. He's quite intelligent, relatively speaking, and is very appreciative if you free him. He does have a case of 'mindless cat' syndrome, though. He also has interactions with Inigo and Xelzaz. Speaking of, Xelzaz is an Argonian from Morrowind - he serves as an independent contractor of sorts for House Telvanni, so he's familiar with a bunch of interesting weird stuff. Neat fellow. He does have very well defined morals and integrity, and he knows 100% what _he_ wants. So, if the player does something he disapproves of, and can't convince him to tolerate it, he'll just leave. Keep that in mind.

Unpopular opinion time: Vilja is my favorite follower. Im willing to overlook the bad audio quality with the lesser npcs because I think Vilja herself is so adorable. Also, the Mirai mod is really infuriating to me. I love the idea of the dragonborn mentoring and training someone with similar powers to them, but.... why is there a romance option? If there wasnt, I think she'd get a lot more attention.

Small commentaries: I'd pass on Remiel on the virtue that she's ace. There wouldn't be an option for smash. Auri is a carnivore. Presumably very good at eating meat. Smash? The issue with Hoth is that we don't get to smash. He is the one who smashes. Gore is a not-so-subtle reference to Guts, from Berserk. Very similar backstory, fairly similar appearance. Very neat. Guts was quite... prolific in Berserk. If Gore is the same, then instant-smash.

I badly want to Marry Lucien, take care of him. Love him with all my heart and soul but he's not romanceable 😭 Caryalind was my first love until I installed Kaidan. Kaidan took my soul. I installed Bishop, cuz I love Dark romance tropes. And good lord I laughed and cringed so hard at him. Immediate uninstall. I wish kaidan will have the julian gameplay mechanic tho.

I have a hard time agreeing with any of these. Maybe follower mods are just not my thing, but I dislike almost every single one of these. Inigo is literally the only one I love, I like Xelzaz, and I can tolerate Mrissi in small doses. Kaiden, Lucien, and Gore just grate on my nerves horribly which has forced me to completely stop watching 90% of livestreams and lets play videos because almost everyone uses at least one of them. Same with nexus collections and wabbajack lists. Auri is another I just cant enjoy. I have tried so many times and just cant. Remiel, Vilja, Sofia, and Lucifer I uninstalled within 5 minutes of playing with them for one reason or another. Honestly I feel like most followers just have unbareable personalities from where mod authors try to make them quirky or memorable but they just come off as annoying or dumb. I also hate the weird fourth wall breaking dialogue trend where your follower is essentially a god and knows the options or lack thereof for every single quest.

I'm in a love-hate situation with Sofia. She's an asshole and gives me pick-me vibes but she can be funny and I can't help but feel a little bad for her, honestly. I don't know. You show her a little bit of kindness and she's like '😮'

it is not the age that bothers me about Mirai, but rather it is her impertinence attitude that bothers me when you first meet her, which definitely made me uninstall right away 😅 totally pass. I knew some 17 year olds who acted more amiable than her upon meeting them. as for Vilja I would _totally_ SMASH...with the Vilja Re-imagined mod that is 🥰🥰 but either way, re-imagined or not, I love my Scandinavian/Swede women 💛💙

Gore-Not interested in copy-pasted followers who break other mods. Caryalind either anymore since it tried to ruin another mod. Lucifer is too pushy. I dislike naggy followers who push me constantly to follow the main questline. Lucien does it too sadly. 1001 times Delphine is waiting for me in riverwood. I don't care. ugh - You have almost all my favs- Inigo, Kaidan, Xelzaz, Hoth, Auri, Sophia and Remiel. Get Xelzaz, Remi and Redcap together you will be in for a nice surprise! Fun stuff!

Pass on every male. Smash on every female. Daegon, Mirai, Auri etc. Mirai is 18 by the time you finish the quest with her and there are mods to make her look older. Think of her as a high school sweetheart. (For guys only. She is straight and that is a fact) End of discussion.
