Don't feel bad. Literally had someone come into my arenas last week, tbagging, being a dick for no reason. Beat him once, he gets more toxic, beat him again, he ragequit. Came back still being toxic, beat him again, and he ragequit again lol This game is a whole ass circus
The arena experience isn't complete until you fight a toxic doc/cloud/banjo/hero/falco who you just know play with eyesore mods and sharingan kill flash flickering the results page.
As much as I dislike a lot of aspects of Elite Smash/Quick Play, they at least have competent opponents for the most part. These arena battles are filled with lots of scrubs where it’s not fun at all. I also have no idea why they disabled taunting in Elite Smash while allowing it for Arena battles.
But honestly, why would you do a serious 1v1 in an arena when there's quickplay? Arena are for fun. I also sometimes do 1v1's in arenas but only if someone wants to practice with me. (I'm a Ganondorf player)
