5:28 I actually agree a lot with this, I like going for Up B after Up Airs with Joker mainly because at best, I get a combo extension if the Up B connects, and even if it doesn't connect because the opponent air dodges or jumps I like to use it to condition them with it
@fooldiamond5452 Oh no he is just sauceless. Leo does literally nothing cool with the character. He plays super optimally with Joker for sure but DEFINITELY not hype. If you played Joker you'd know
Danny DeVito ( MickeyLeo ) dickriders are insane lol Dude has never been dominant with Joker since the nerfs, peaked at early meta where people couldn't deal with the MU and Joker was even more broken. Nowadays you have Zackray, Tsubaki piloting the character in the most stressful situations in high level with finesse, even Omega has been doing well lately, but Smash NPCs still act as if this tired Joker who loses to random Marios is the best when it's clearly not the case. Even Nairo's Joker is more consistent than Danny's at this point.
Joker is not top tier. All that work around and moving precisely just to miss and get countered is too much effort like MKLeo said. It's too much work for the gains. I think people are distracted by the fast movements. Yeah you have fast movements but your reach and hitbox are tiny! Reach and speed are optimized in every kinds of game. Joker's optimization gravitates towards flaw more than a good trade. MKLeo would be better off with a different character. Was he not working on Corrin?
Sparg0 got advice from a dude that goes 2-2 or 3-2 in tournaments to beat Leo's Joker recently. Leo's and Team Liquid's Smash coach is someone who goes 0-2 or 1-2 in brackets. Same with Charles, Tony etc who aren't that good at playing nowadays but are the best coaches you can get. Void has a ton of game knowledge and also has years of experience competing too. Your way of thinking is extremely narrow minded.
