Yea the intro roll is back. And you had a little helper with the planter :) The planter is looking good! I hope Deere finds all is well and you're ready to go.

Deere has updated their opener blades as well but honestly there not much better. Also, one thing we found out is when you switch to the new Deere opener blades you have to install a new shaft that the blades ride on, they made them a little longer, so the nut once tighten has about 2 threads showing. You have to put on a new frog or seed tube protector as well. After all that we to still got some crazy measurements. I think the openers get all bent up when there being thrown into the crate from Deere or from the dealer, just my thought.

Carson, I am always amazed at the work involved in getting one of those planters field ready. Lots of moving parts and I am sure a steep learning curve. Lucky for you it looks like you had a good little supervisor. Great video, thanks.

For filling the gear box, I would have put it on it's side, then added a bit more than what came out. Then set it upright and let the excess drain out. Dole Farms, had the coupling fail on theirs also, as they also did not know to grease it. Thanks for the video.

Great video, when breaking fastners loose with cordless ratchet, don't apply to much pressure or drive will slip, I found out the hardway.

Might torque wrench certain bolts, since if they loosen, it could spell disaster. Take the PTO drive/generator, lots of natural vibration there. Might even us a dab of orange loktight for insurance. YMMV.

Next time you can take hydraulic oil sensor out to drain the generator.

So I'm not a farmer so I know nothing about farming. But what's funny is Larson Farm video drop tonight showed those same metal disks. Chet was happy with them as the diameter measurement was the same after one season of planting last year. No disrespect to anybody here. I just think it's interesting seeing two different opinions on the same part being used.

I talked to the company and they think that I was accidentally sent a bad batch. However, I can only talk about the experiences that I have and my experiences were not good. I’m glad to hear that Larson‘s are happy with theirs and I hope most of their other customers are as well

I agree I have 367 acres on mine and they still measuring 3/16ths under new. I could hardly get deere to last 200 acres. I've never used the business card method mine are all bent after the first rocky knoll. Wearparts have been great for me. That Larson Farms had 69 acres on his and they basically still measured new.
