In his video you will see a neutrally buoyant demonstration of "SMB Deployment".
Safely deploying an SMB is a vital scuba skill. An SMB is used to signal your position to the surface. It is absolutely mandatory when diving from a boat so that the surface support can track your position while you are underwater.
Deploying an SMB is one of the most difficult skills to master while in trim and maintaining neutral buoyancy. However, with a little practice, the skill will become second nature.
This video is designed to be used by new divers, learning to dive, Divemasters, Instructors and Trainers.
At RAID we believe diving neutrally buoyant is no accident. It's all about proper training.
