This Construction Update is for the two projects: The Southeast Metro Manila Expressway and South Luzon Expressway Toll Road 4. All of these photos are taken by me in the aerial shots from the plane. I hope you will like the video.
To President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, TRB Executive Director Alvin Carullo, Concerned LGUs, and Contractors please coordinate with each other and finish the project so that motorists can enjoy the road leading to the destinations and the delivery of goods will be smooth.
Southeast Metro Manila Expressway
The Southeast Metro Manila Expressway (SEMME) Project is a toll road project with approximately 32.664 km. in length. The expressway has a combination of elevated and at-grade and mostly six lanes with two directional traffic flows. It will connect from the existing skyway at FTI in Taguig City, run along C5/Diego Silang towards existing C6 in Taguig City, continue along Laguna Lake, then link to Ortigas Avenue extension, cross Sumulong Highway, towards Marcos Highway to Tumana Bridge at San Mateo, Rizal and terminate to Batasan Complex at Quezon City.
The triangle area near ARCA South where the future interchange of SEMME will connect to Skyway is not yet built. Even after SMC and Ayala Land signed an integration agreement to build SEMME to the C-5 segment to connect Skyway, ARCA South, and C-5 Road.
However, buildings are affected in the Right-of-way areas as the land owners, the government, and the Private Proponent will work out to solve the said issues.
South Luzon Expressway Toll Road 4
The SLEX Toll Road 4 Project is a toll road project with approximately 66.74 km. in length. The expressway has four lanes and It will connect from SLEX TR3 in Calamba, Laguna to Brgy. Mayao Silangan in Lucena, Quezon. There are nine exits in total: Sto, Tomas, Makban, San Pablo, Tiaong, Candelaria, Sariaya, Tayabas, Lucena, and Mayao.
As of January 2024, The TR4 is still ongoing with the Sto. Tomas Interchange is currently under construction.
Again, The Package A segment is one of the segments alongside Packages B, D, E & F that have the right-of-way issues that have stalled the project.
Some villages/subdivisions are affected by the TR4 Package A Segment: Ridgemont South Village and Le Moubreza Subdivision.
The gap between the Package A carriageway and the Makban Interchange is still present due to the right of way issues as property owners, concerned LGUs, and the Private Proponent are trying to settle the issue before TR4 can resume work on the segment.
