Honestly, I still have my theory that D.O was suppose to be in Priority. Because I just can FEEL his presence missing from the track. Plus, him, Changmin and Winter were all trained by Yoo Young Jin. And this is the most rnb track of the sm palace album. It make no sense for them not to try to includ D.O in this. And finally, in the second verse of the song, it feel like there was suppose to have one more voice on the song. But for some reason, it didn't happen. D.O was probably busy and couldn't make it.

have not watched the video yet but when i saw ceecee would be reacting to hot and cold i was like oh god this is abt to be setup of the century 😭 just bc (and i think you echoed this in your original reaction) but hot and cold was so middle of the road? the song didn't really change at all the entire way through (although i will say it's catchy lol i find myself singing the chorus sometimes) and then with the choreo i don't think the four of them had that much time to practice together lmaoooo but interested to hear ceecee's thoughts anyway!

i agree, Winter actually should have some more adlibs/lines. Priority actually suits her voice and tone very nicely, and she could have done more adlibs to showcase her capabilities alongside her seniors. nothing against Taeyeon or Changmin, but i felt like some of their adlibs/duet lines could’ve been given to Winter and she would do it justice. hope SM would give her the opportunity in the future.

I also felt like D.O. was missing from Priority. He's comfortable in his lower range and could have kept up with the vocal runs. If D.O. wasn't available, then Jaehyun or Key, two of the handful of baritones at SM, should have been made an offer. Or even give Jisung from NCT an opportunity (a lot of untapped potential there vocally).

I understand what Cece is saying but Changmin is known for his high notes that's why he does it with the girls. Why not have the girls go low?

Too bad the Korean entertainment is so toxic, they really prevented us from a possible Taeyeon Baekhyun vocal masterpiece :(

I'm gonna say something kinda wild, I wish they had given Chanyeol a spot on priority. because, if you listen to EXO's music he carries their lower harmonies and he is such a good baritone he would have fit well. Or even Jaehyun, who is a main vocalist with an amazing range who has also proven to be a great baritone

when she mentioned the contrast btw taeyeon and winter, (dont hate me) i thought of jessica. that was the beauty of the 2 og main vocals.

I honestly think it's not that winter wasn't given the parts - i think she wasn't able to make them shine. Winter has all the adlibs in the first aprt of the second chorus and you can hardly even hear her. Then Winter has the higher part in the bridge and she just let that go too. She had a lot of opportunity that she didn't capitalize on. Her voice is really pretty and it's really memorable but I don't think she was aggressive enough between Taeyeon and Changmin, who are both real power vocalists. It honestly feels like she had a completely different interpretation of this song than Taeyeon and Changmin who interpreted the song very similarly. It could have been different if they were all in the recording studio together, but I assume they recorded their parts separately

Cee Cee is on point with Priority missing that lower vocal harmony and how DO and Baekhyun (though I really think DO, since he tends to do lower harmonies in EXO vs Baekhyun) would've REALLY pushed the song over the edge. That's actually why I think EXO is such a well-rounded vocal group, because they have strong singers filling out the entire chord. A shame that for whatever reason (scheduling conflicts, most likely) we didn't get that
