That is technically counterable as smeargle is 75 speed, so a 105+maxed out speed grounded pokemon or 76+ max speed flying/boots pokemon, or mach punch or any strong priority really. Still a fun, cool and honestly very strong and tricky team, smeargle balanced pokemon :D
I suppose another hard counter would be if a non Ghost type has a ghost terra giving u a free hit to knock it out but forcing to burn a terra is useful as well, maybe replace spore with agility for the speed issue just be mindful of ghost and resistance types but it but with the webs already set it could come out at anytime not necessarily immediately
@PKshockwave you don't know the pokemons Tera and u will like be spamming the mouse's move so the unexpected Tera ghost on a none ghost type will give them a free hit since you wouldn't know who has a Terra ghost
I just will never understand the idea behind using bad strategies vs players that are playing a diff game. Like power herb solar beam on solgaleo. I could pretty much use whatever I want vs these players and win. Much more enjoyable to see these types of strategies optimized to beat good players.
what was the set up for this Smeargle, what pokemon did you have to sketch to get those moves?.....how did your sketch them?.....the reason i want to know because i want to use this set badly
Sketching is actually easier than ever in the Indigo Disk. In case anyone's sensitive to spoilers, all I'll say is that you can have several double battles with NPCs every day, which is the perfect way to get moves onto Smeargle. All you have to do is arrange it so the target of the Sketch has a higher Speed stat than Smeargle (though that's irrelevant if the move to be Sketched is a priority move such as Extremespeed, of course), and have the Smeargle at a high enough level that it's likely to be able to take at least one hit (optionally, have it hold Focus Sash to be sure) and you can get a move Sketched on the first turn of that double battle.
Smeargle can use sketch to copy any move in the game, with a few exceptions often related to gimmicks, such as chatter which used to allow chattot to change its cry, hyperspace fury which has hoopa being a part of the animations, unusable moves like the star mobile torque attacks, or tera starstorm with its special tera mechanics. Revival blessing and dark void are also unsketchable.
thats the least thing wrong with the video, latios is immune to webs so unless bro was a newb , why wasnt he running speed EVs on his latios, pretty sure the lowest latios speed stat is higher then smeargles highest
prolly max attack and speed, but this vid is invalid cus he was either fight a noob or he setup this fight. im competitive, latios, ho oh and zapdos wouldve outsped
They get 3 options, technician, own tempo and moody. Considering he wanted to sweep the man probably went technician. Extra damage on low damage moves.
