RM NFL has in season and prior season contests. Last year the old season contests were good for winning in season cards. Old season contests will probably get worse each year as there are more and more prior seasons

Not sure if I believe this, but the pro burn case goes like this: You burn a card for something like 80% of the essence required for a card of the same tier because you don't like it, it doesn't fit your gallery, it's worse than the other cards in the tier. The supply of the burned card for the season is lowered for sorare. If that same manager sold that card to a bot, they created downward pressure on the price. For Example, You win Cristian Arango Limited ($74) as your star reward. Sorare lets you burn him for 80% of the essence required to craft a random star which could be messi ($128). You could sell Arango for 58% of the price of the messi or burn him for 80% of the essence for a random chance at messi. Some managers may (foolishly imo) take that deal. Feel that does raise auction prices on arango.

SoRare wins by having people burning cards means a cards price goes up. Therefore any card they auction sells for more money that it did before. EG, Wendel Rare use to sell for €1000 now he is worth €70, so they would have to sell 15 Wendels to get the same amount of money from just 1, regardless of how it's done, have lower supply means high prices for them when they auction and users more happy when they win, it's a higher amount of money = positive sentiment and communication = most positivity spread = more users like to join or be interested, which is when alot of users joined in the first place when word or mouth and positive sentiment was rampant which funnily enough was when prices were higher, regardless of the reasons.
