I have no idea how long this chainsaw has been in storage but the fuel stinks like rotten eggs so it has been a long time. Let's see if I can save it or if it's trash.
I got the same saw , fuel leaks into the cyl. when it sits and it hydro locks , carb. needs a rebuild like yours . The saw (I believe) is worth fixing , they don't make 'em like that anymore .
@@riderescue yeah I have 5 mini macs 2 theirs no fixing them but they look nice on the shelf. they are a 25 and a 35. so a couple less cc. and no chain breaks. but the 110 and 120 then eager beaver I have all have nice chain breaks, also all are pretty much brand new. just been sitting for a long, long, long time. my beaver runs good. but I'm getting into the other 2 soon. i got them for climbing, plus I kept finding them for 25 bucks. but even if I just getting them all in running order and put then on the shelve in the shop. I do kinda like the electric saws for climbing actually anyways. I don't know what I was thinking. honestly the battery powered saws are the only saws you should be using to climb. I have taken down at least ten trees over 40ft with my first get stupid Ryobi 18v chainsaw haha. ill be getting a still or husqy soon.
Yep. I hate to buy parts for these low cost projects (like the carb kit) just find other lethal issues like a gas tank with a horrible chunk of foam stuffed in the bottom of it. If this little thing wasn't so time consuming to take apart and put back together, I'd give it another try. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Much appreciated.
