What's interesting is that much of the grayish colored substance you see on the surface of the smelted phone material is oxide layer. If they cleared away the slag or oxide then their measurement would be more accurate.

He said 2600 fahrenheit which is 1427 celsius. The Boiling point of Iron is 5184 Fahrenheit or 2862 celsius

No dummy. 2600 F is enough to melt iron. To boil iron, it must be WHITE HOT and be in a PLASMA state. We are talking about a temperature of 5,184°F
