The fact that Axol's body starts deteriorating after Zero possessed him, does this mean that the body we get a few glimpses of in "The day HE arived" was some random dude who got possessed by Zero at one point or another as well?That body has an exposed ribcage and misses some textures so its posible it started deteriorating as well
Maybe the other universe had a missing hotbox in a world chunk and SMG0 fell into that worlds backrooms and touched something he wasn’t suppose to causing him to corrupt and slowly deteriorate which has led him to kill Avatars in order to restore his own image template
It always happens in movies, the antagonist is about to kill or harm them, the protagonists gets time to run but instead of running away they just sit and stare then run when it’s too late
It's SMG0. It Needs an avatar to take a phisical form, but Instead of copy the subject's body, it posses invades him/her. It's like if SMG4 and SMG3 lived with Mario in the same body, as an example

I just had a realization. Axol just got his Inkweaver repaired, & now he's possessed by Zero. This means that Zero now has access to the Inkweaver & it's powers. However, because it was broken for so long, all the ink inside of it from before has dried up, meaning that it's no longer at full power. Zero would probably want to create an army with the Inkweaver, so it would be in his best interest to get it up to max power. But since the ink is gone, he would have to get some. But the only place where someone can get that much of the stuff is...in Inkopolis, which...means that... *Oh.* *Oh no.*
If that’s the case, then SMG0 is gonna create an army to fight back against SMG4’s gang (unless he’s corrupting them into not helping SMG4 and Mario so they’re on they’re own). Though, I think 0 has plans for SMG3 as well, because he was the reason SMG3 was at the mushroom kingdom in the first place, since it’s revealed that SMG3 was meant to go to the internet graveyard. It’s as if he knew that SMG3 would go to villainy. So maybe he plans on not only corrupting Axol, but also SMG3 as well to serve as a pawn for his plan.
Smg4 I realized that at 4:50 it shows Mario’s hat in a box and then smg4 and smg3s re design hats in the other and 1 and 2 on hats . So it was going to happen at one point that that arc and also the re designs were going to come eventually same with the fact in the video where Mario sees smg3 and smg4s old models and it grabs smg3 and that was in the it’s going to be perfect movie so you really did plan on re designs . I'm going to be honest with everyone on RU-vid right now, possessed Axol has got to be the most scariest thing SMG4 has made. And I'll be honest again, I may never unsee that.
From here on out we call him Ax0l. That last scene gives me vibes from the ending cutscene from CarnEvil, with Ax0l’s one glowing eye as the screen fades to black with a muted end card no less.
It's crazy what the virus pod did to Axol and more even to what will even happen to Mario, SMG3 and 4 looking forward to where this arc goes so far the lore is getting deeper and darker love the series
Theory: Smg0's end goal is to recreate his old universe by overriding Mario's. 1. We saw in the 10 year anniversary that when he captured Mario, he wasn't trying to kill him like Spudnick. Perhaps he's trying to convert Mario into his old Avatar evidenced by the way Mario's arm changed. (All Smg's and their avatar look alike) Maybe he killed Spudnick by sapping his lifeforce, giving him the energy he needs to override Mario's code. 2. Axol has fixed his inkweaver and is now possesed my 0. Maybe he's using Axol to recreate all of his old characters from his universe. Perhaps he will suceed at first. He turns Mario into his old avatar and takes over the mushroom kingdom, but the whole thing is unstable. And Smg4 and the gang will have to undo 0's damage and set everything back to normal before their universe collapses. Maybe Melony will come in and recode the universe back to it's original state. It could end with 0 accepting that he really is dead and his home is never coming back. So he passes on. Okay that part was a bit too sad. This is just my theory though.
Funny it kinda reminds me of x sans and shit because his universe was wiped out and he tried to kill other universes to rebuild his own but most likely failed
Axol now is an unkillable demon. Axolotls are OP in real life, they can be cut in half and regenerate without problem. Also, a mexican legend tells that a god took the form of an Axolotl to survive death, it looked like Axol right now. Edit: Melony should have aimed for the limbs and not the head.

I thought smg4 in disguise was an entity, which don't exist in level 0! I was wondering, though, an elevator is an entity, entity 89. Also, doors don't exist in level 0 and if they just went far enough, they'd get internet from level 1 which has endless electricity and internet

Well, since all the remaining guardians are trapped in SMG3’s pod, there’s no one left outside to open it, and SMG0 isn’t gonna let anyone that’s inside open the door, so even if SMG4’s friends were to arrive a few minutes later, there’d be nothing they can do to stop SMG0. Mario… this show… this universe. 🙁 It will all end soon. And no one can stop it. Unless, ofc, Mario stabs himself and respawns outside the pod before SMG0’s hand grabs him and inflicts permadeath. 👿 But then, that won’t work if SMG0 set the spawnpoint inside SMG3’s pod…
@@bgaming2297 I agree, honestly I don’t even want a wotfi 2021. Ig it would be cool but kinda basic, I’d prefer the next wotfi to be in 2022, constant wotfis would show that smg4 isn’t thinking of original ideas. Just my thoughts tho B)
SMG4 and his whole Team are some of the best storywriters no cap, this is getting so damn interesting that Im awating the next Episode every week. Thanks for your hard work SMG4! You made my childhood and still make my days in the present! Gotta appreciate that at least once in a while
Facts, while I still think that the old videos were better comedies, these are much better stories and they always keep me on my toes, while some of the earlier serious story arcs had some moments that I found weird (don't interprete that as me saying I don't like them though because I definitely do) mainly because at first the transition between "funny haha moment" and "serious moment" lacked build up so it just felt like the video went from 0 to 100 really quickly, although right now, I got to hand it to smg4, the genesis Arc so far, is kinda perfect. As a story at least.
Goddamn this was a whole 'nother experience from SMG4. I love how the comedy is still readily there within the story, but this isn't your average episode of SMG4. This episode was just terrifying.

Despite their annoyance towards seeing each other, I feel like SMG3 and SMG4 are on the path towards becoming allies, followed by them becoming friends

holy shit your character designs went from recolored mario all the way to custom modelled evil axol and it is astonishing looking back at that and your experimentation on the horror genre works quite well where you still put comedy in at times and then right after a sence of terror i would usually get from a silent hill game fucking amazing
Demon Axol made my Jaw drop. It still gives me extreme chills. He’s my favorite character in the show so I’m hoping he doesn’t stay demonified or ends up dying or performing a self sacrifice at the end of this arc. I will freaking cry if he parish’s
