Still can't believe SMG4 does this, Turns seemingly normal things into full blown chaos. That's why I love his content.

I love how Karen is this like "I'm tired of everything" person yet has a soft spot for kids definitely hope she becomes a sort of main character

Mario grows more and more intelligent by the episode. Here, he's seen thinking quickly on his feet and saving the two people he likes the least. Such as spiting on the Kernals clothes to make his OWN minions attack him, without saying a word. Which is actually *really* clever for a guy like Mario. His dumbness is TOTALLY an act. I feel it in my BONES.

Karen not giving me arc vibes, but at the same time her animations are more smoother. For a theory: she's going to be in the main crew, but probably in a few special episodes. Of course like Tairi & Meggy, Mario is gonna have to annoy Karen into submission to be friends. At least until hints drop that Karen either gonna have an arc, or her own series.

I guess the new SMG4 arc is Mario turning mundane tasks into crazy adventures. Been fun so far. Can’t wait to see what Mario does next. Hopefully he’ll have gotten a new pair of overalls by then.

This episode was... interesting. The animation was eerily smooth for most of it, especially for boopkins, Karen and Steve. Additionally, mario actually spoke and acted smart on his own. It's really strange.

4:00 I have a theory about Karen. It's that Karen is the mother of Whisk from Sunset Paradise. After the reveal that Wheeler is Shroomy's grandpa, it got me thinking about what kind of reveal or what they might do with Karen since she apparently has kids. My reasoning points are: 1. Obviously, their both catgirls and Karen apparently is a mother with 1000 kids to look after, where Whisk might be one of them 2. Whisk has a mum she talked to over the phone in Episode 3 about going to community college after she's made enough money at her current job, it's implied their family is struggling financially. Since Karen is working multiple jobs for her children it's also implied she has a difficult financial situation as well. 3. SMG4 has introduced characters from his other series before like Tari and Belle Fontiere, so since Sunset Paradise is set in the same universe as SMG4 it wouldn't be unusual for Whisk to appear. Plus she may get the same change to her model outside of the Island just like how Meggy changed when she went to Sunset Paradise Island. 4. Karen is pushy just like Whisk's mum appeared to be in during Whisk's conversation over the phone, who we never hear the voice of. 5. Karen has appeared a lot as of late compared to the other side characters so she might eventually get character development and we might eventually learn more about her backstory, linking her to Whisk. 6. Wheeler is a thief and Whisk is a thief who is up for hire. Future partners in crime for a heist?

YESSS METARUNNER SEASON 3 LETS GO I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG

First time seeing Karen given lines and I already love her character. I hope she becomes a reoccurring minor character, if nothing else. @SMG4 Now is the fact that Karen is basically the "manager" of the laundromat there an intentional subversion of the stereotype, or was that an ironic coincidence? Cause either way, I love it. Personal head-cannon for Karen: a supportive, loving mother figure and the manager of multiple small businesses in the Mushroom Kingdom (the laundromat, a local coffee shop [her apron, visor and headset just screams it], etc.). Possibly also the principal of an elementary school / the head caretaker of an orphanage / the owner of a large daycare center if we take her "1,000 children I have to look after" comment as fact and not sarcasm about having a large family. Originally she was your stereotypical "everything revolves around me" / "I demand to see the manager!" kind of Karen before deciding one day to become the manager at her local coffee shop just to get what she wanted. She succeeded, but in doing so came to understand what it truly means to be the manager. Though still stubborn and headstrong [have to be to have not quit that kind of position], years of working in customer service (mostly interacting with the okay to the outright insane/unreasonable) have left her apathetic and emotionally despondent to life and other people as a whole. Interacting with and taking care of children are one of the few things in life that she still finds joy in and will protect no matter what. Though gentle and constructive with kids, she will not hesitate to confront others and correct them when they're in the wrong. She may not be much of a "Karen" anymore, but that righteous fury of hers can still burn if the circumstances are right. Whatever you plan to do, I look forward to seeing more of her in the future. Keep up the great content!
