I love SMG1's statement that Axol literally had nothing to do with Zero, yet he still possessed him for his own reasons. Not just cause Paul did an awesome job voicing SMG1, but it gives the whole 'being at the wrong place at the wrong time' a whole different meaning.
Before you read this, I just want to say that I am by no means justifying Zero’s actions. At 3:53, when Melony was trying to reach Axol, Zero looked down before kicking Melony. When he looked down, he seemed to have this sort of upset look on his face, like he never wanted any of this to happen. He even says later that he just wants to live, and during the rap, he talks about how all he knows is pain. He never wanted to possess Axol, upset his friends, or kill him. He just wants to live again. And in terms of him fighting against everyone, he only seems to be out for SMGs 1 and 2. In WOTFI 2021, after he opened up the gateway to the new universe, he grabbed 1 and 2, but only 1 and 2. He left SMGs 3 and 4 alone. He wants only those two dead because they had something to do with his transformation. To put it simply, I see Zero as a more hellbent version of Waluigi. Waluigi never wanted to take over the world, or abandon Wario, he just wanted to be in smash. He didn’t intend to do what he did, he was driven into doing it. Just like Zero was.
This applies even more now that Revelations is released. It's possible that it looks like SMG0 is starting to gain control and realizes all the trouble he has caused, but Niles immediately goes back in control.
I think the reason Axol has inkweaver as his arm is when in the episode "if Mario was in anime" Axol said losing inkweaver was like losing an arm, this time it is his arm.
Me after seeing that moment with Melony and Axol: *Why must you hurt me in this way?* And here's my final challenge for WOTFI 2021, if I can still submit a possible challenge: Which SMG can beat (or rather survive) a gauntlet made for training, organized by Bob, Saiko and Meggy?

I legit almost cried by how touching and tragic this scene is! Axol finally confessed his feelings to Melony, but it’s very likely that they will never get a chance to be together in the end

Melony has spoken before at times, such as in the 2020 Xmas special, SMG4: The Melony Felony, the 10-anniversary special, SMG4: WHAT IF…? and SMG4: The Day HE Arrived. I’m glad Melony is speaking more. I would really like to even hear her rap in the potential WOTFI 2021 rap battle.

3:20 The toad saying: “Sorry Mario, but the princess is in another castle” really feels like SMG3 shooting that shotgun at evil axol, which is basically us, and then evil Axol using the force on SMG3 and 4 is us slamming the keyboard/controller
Two predictions about Axol himself: 1) He will straight up die, a sacrifice for story like Desti was before him. 2) He survives somehow and begins a new spin-off show parodying anime, with Melonie as his co-star.
I would scream with excitement if number 2 happened! Axol and Melony are two of my favorite characters in this series! They are both such interesting characters with so much potential! Of course, however, Melony's sword would have to be changed to be more original for that work, in order to avoid, you know, copyright issues.

Lets all be real. Even if SMG0 releases Axol he’s dead meat. The damage done to axols body is so immense that the moment he would transform back he would be in critical condition. Why ? Well SMG0 is inhabiting Axols body so it would be just like axol having those fatal injuries. The reason why SMG0 is still alive is because he can inhabit a body no matter how destroyed it is. Even if what was left of axol was a skeleton he’d still live. Because he’s a god
You can literally hear how much effort that SMG4 puts into his voice acting, its so surreal to me how it all started as a bunch of Mario and SMG4 adventures, and now... THIS.
Zero is by far the most terrifying and real villain in the entire SMG4 series. Waluigi was very powerful but just doesn't do many thretaning things. Bob just wanted a rap career. Francais just wanted an island of waifus. SMG3 was intimidating and intelligent in the RU-vid arc but this is really a step up. It feels like there's actual stakes and for once, a series about rag doll Italians feels scary and vulnerable.

I miss them too, but if smg4 continues being this good then that's fine by me. And besides, smg4 has shown time and time again he still definitely knows how to make modern videos that Feel like 2015 smg4 (the most recent example being Mario plays five nights at Freddy's) he just wants to push videos like this.

Did anyone else suspect that this was 0’s goal? I had this suspicion since the avatar was explained. Also, in the tenth anniversary, we see Mario’s arm being transformed into something that resembled what we saw of 0, unlike the destruction of 1 and 2’s avatar
I think SMG0 was trying to turn Spudnick into his new avatar but he wasn’t strong enough to survive and accidentally killed him in the process. Now he’s moving on to Mario.
Notice something: Zero said he wanted to create a universe but also said: *Nice and peaceful, just like it used to be.* And if you look at Zero’s eye, it grows huge, which means that he is feeling happiness, he is happy to create a new universe or in this case, a new home. I think something happened to Zero’s old universe which caused it to collapse and have him search for an avatar to make another one where he can live in happily. EDIT: YES I WAS PROVEN RIGHT! I remember finding this channel as simple bloopers many years ago. To evolve into simply meme retardedness. Today, it is like it’s telling a story through these families favorite memes and a bit of originality. It’s like seeing a light novel series becoming a manga And into an anime of some sort

I have actual tears. The whole fiasco with SMG0 using Axol as his avatar, Mario almost dieing at one point and, worst of all, Axol himself actually confessing to Melony literally almost broke my heart because of the intense love for the SMG4 cast. Can't wait for WOTFI next week :)
This cliffhanger.. has probably been one of the most exciting of all the ones I've seen. Given I've grown up watching the SMG4 Universe, It's so.. heartwarming to see that a lot moments, even if they were memes or not, have made a comeback in the Genesis Arc. I'm so very excited for the WOTFI 2021! But.. I have a feeling the SMG4 Universe/Series is coming to an end. I've loved this series from back when SMG4 and Mario were in minecraft. Please, continue to give not just children, but everyone such an amazing story to watch and be excited for!
Here’s my theory on this whole zero possessing thingy. Eldritch axol’s upper body and his right eye match the details of when we saw part of zero’s body in “the beginning of the end” this could mean that the longer zero possesses axol, the more closer he becomes towards his true body

After that ending, I feel like that's what SMG4 was referring to when he said this arc will be different: Zero... _is going to win._ Also, on a side note, I'd switch the Final Hours music from Majora's Mask at the end with Destruction of All Worlds from Super Paper Mario since the latter sounds more fitting in tone IMO. Either way, I'm excited for the grand finale!

I think if they lose, it'll mean this arc is kind of a transformation era to get rid of the mario looking characters and make a new world instead of living in the mushroom kingdom.
Yeah, now the question is how this will all end after WOTFI: A) Axol dies B) Melony dies/ her Fierce Deity mask breaks C) Mario dies and the SMG4 universe is destroyed, i.e. everyone dies D) They all make it through alive and the Axol X Melony ship finally sails (You can probably tell what we all rather happen xD)

Any of the 3 others can happen. -If A, B or A and B doesn't happen, second part of D has a high chance of happening. -I think the team will never do a World War Mario 2 with a character dying, especially not with a big character like Axol or Melony, so not A nor the first part of B. -At worst, Melony will go back to being a simple Melon again, so there could be a dedicated episode to find her a new Fierce Deity Mask (maybe they will find it, maybe she'll stay a melon forever).
