This is a strong and overplayed statement, but this album changed my life. What a vibe this song is, it’s so moody and dark. As someone who’s into production, I still can’t believe how good Dah Shinin is front to back.
The older I get (I'm getting up there. Had this when it was new.) The older I get the better my playback systems get and you are not lying! This beat has layers between the levels and it's the truth.
beat of "Hellucination" tops this.. only a master reaching the legendary-status can put such sickness into music. sounding more like year 2035 not 1995. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uJJZ3d8nHl0.html
🎧😌 Bought this classic when I was 14. Looking back on it now I can say that my favorite tracks from "Dah Shinin" are descriptive in that "Stand Strong" is bold and determined. "Bucktown" is esoteric and melodic. "Next Shit" is observation and awareness. "Soundbwoy Burial" is dark and an air of caution. "PNC" is from the heart and deeply felt. "Hellucination" is otherworldly and horrific. "Wrekonize" is laid back and smooth. "Cession At Da Doghillee" is bragging rights and camaraderie. 😌 "Wontime" though...this track used to take me somewhere else. Like the deepest corners of my mind type shit lol. 🎧😌 "Stand Strong" was and still is my favorite track on the album but "Wontime" used to have me hypnotized in the zone for real! 😏👉🏾 😎👍🏾Peace to Steele and Tek for doing the damn thang on such a classic, respected, and well put together album! 🤜🏽🤛🏿 Boot Camp Clik/Duck Down Forever🪖🥾 💐💐
Cocoa B's...1st verse about snitches, 2nd verse about being locked up, 3rd verse about running the streets trying to eat...now listen to the hook and realize how genius this track is🔥🔥🔥
Mean !!! I hale from the era of killa verses an vicious MC tandems. The 90s was and will be forever the best time for hip hop. Not this skinny jean soft shit. I'm talking 100$ outfits that consisted of military fatigue's and timbs. This whole camp is responsible for some the most legendary songs. R.I.P to Ruck aka Sean Price
@@oldschoolfreak98 I also wear baggy stuff and I didnt even grew up in the golden hip hop era, nor am afro-american. Just love the style and music. Fuck the skinny jeans crap
1 person disliked this. 1 person must be an asshole! And I won't assume the person likes Lil Wayne or anything because that's closed minded, but wow. How do you thumbs down this track?
Heard. This. My first time. In. 95 am 44 now. Homicide. This. Song is. Good. Anthem where am coming from Paterson. Nj ccp projects. Alabama projects union ave school 14. Shit. Real rap era
Some of the sickest lyrics ever put on paper!!! "When my lead gets used up I'll grab my baseball bats and you'll get bruised up" "Flippin on the bitch ass who got cash and commissary cause I ain't goin home till Nevuary"
