I really enjoyed the first movie I hope this one lives up to the hype the first movie brought

The first half of this made me confused about the title

The first Smile was genuinely creepy, had some jump scares that actually got me, and legit had me on the edge of my seat. This trailer is doesn't look that good so far, I hope the movie itself doesn't dissapoint. I was hoping they would continue the story with first movie

My first reaction: THAT. CANNOT. BE!!! I hope that the film will not fall into the category "all second parts are rubbish" again, because I personally think that the trailer strongly goes in that direction 😭😭

I think what made the first one so good was the mystery around it and it’s uniqueness, this seems like it will be either be okay or bad

I really like how smile develops one of its protagonists sequel by sequel, the first one was a therapist now its a famous celebrity. One of the many key aspects to what is making this film a must watch

Interesting how a lot of people are suggesting ways to beat the curse or wondering about storyline extension from the last characters. The way I interpreted this movie is what blew my mind away at the mastery of this storytelling. It's why I loved it so much. I hate movies that make a rule, and then break their own rules just to ens with the main character overcoming in thr end. To me, the idea of this movie and what makes it so unique and pretty mentally scary is that you cannot get away from personal/internal trauma. It manifests itself inside of you until it takes over you. It wasn't about a "thing" that moves from one person to the next. The "thing" is already inside of you. Witnessing other people committing suicide just released your own inner turmoil with whatever rrauma you internalized previously. It is what made this movie so phenomenal to me. Pretty scary if you think about people who have real internal issues embracing the message from this movie that you cannot get away from depression or yourself so embrace it and succumb to it. Im not sure if they can make this movie any better than the first one. I do plan on seeing it though, it comes out in my birthday month so happy birthday to me!

I cannot wait. Smile 1 was so good so smile 2 has to be better/good.
