Jim decided to meet with Dr. Cierra Diamse of Smile Clinic to do something about his failing teeth. He decided he wanted a permanent set of teeth that didn't require bone removal or fake gums like the All-on-4, so he went with the 3 on 6™ treatment. After surgery, Dr. Diamse coached Jim through the process of choosing a design and teeth shade that would be best for him. Jim loves his smile and new found confidence. He has no regrets and is now bringing his sons to Smile Clinic for their dental needs.

I think his smile is amazing. It was this video that made me go all in and opt for this over all on 4. My 3 on 6 surgery was yesterday. I know this is expensive and lots of people can't afford it (I had to split this up on two 0% credit cards as Care Credit can only do max $20k credit cards), but don't make fun of people with dream smiles. If his teeth were that bad before, he probably wasn't swimming in money either. He does have a beautiful Hollywood smile and I think people should be able to just be happy for others. Be kind and it'll come back to you!

Why are there not more implantologists using this method? I know it's been around since only 2013/2014, but it just seems to me that the number of professionals using this technology are a very small minority of dentists who do implants.

I am not trying to be mean but why do people choose such unnatural shades. It screams from miles away "I am fake", especially at a certain age. If it were a more realistic color the result would be so wonderful. In the end who am I to judge as long as the patient is happy all is perfect.

After a while they will shade and shift im pretty sure,if anything I'm baffled people aren't able to pick smaller teeth especially fronts and canines need to be customed,not everyone will be ok with the bugs bunny look

I want the brightest glowing teeth I can get and I am 68! I don’t need to choose a dimmer color because I am old. I only have a few years left to enjoy the teeth I have always dreamed of.

I will be doing this system in NY in a couple of weeks, I told the dentist the same thing- not to make them too white that would make them look funny and fake.

I would think the color fades like anything you buy new. Also, these are temporary teeth until they get the permanent ones.

Whether 3 on 6 or All on 4 or 6, they're all workable options. Be clear, 3 on 6 isn't better, just different. FYI, 3 on 6 should be removed annually for inspection and cleaning of the implant sites. Strength will be similar as well. I hate that they sell points that don't make sense..

We believe that if a patient qualifies for both treatments, the 3 on 6™ is the better option because it doesn't handicap the patient by removing their healthy bone from their mouth which can never be undone. About 15% of patients we see in our offices don't have enough bone for 3 on 6™ and so obviously the next best option is an All-on-X.

How long would a treatment plan take? from consult, to procedure, to healing, to final permanents? I would have to travel anywhere from 5669 miles to 8169 miles depending on location chosen. I have to factor in hotels, airfare, etc.. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

No, there is no need to. The bridges can be cleaned with brushing, flossing, and water flossing. We recommend patients go in for standard 6-month dental cleanings and the bridges are NOT removed at those cleanings either.

As you can see in the video, the patient is the one that chooses their shade. Often a doctor will recommend a natural shade and a patient will prefer a brighter shade. Our job is to give the patient the smile that makes them happy.

I know there is a lot of variations but can you give me a close $$$ figure on 3 on 6 upper and lower with no abstractions ? Long ways to travel if I can't afford the proceedure .

There are lots of sedation options and patients can select what they're comforable with. When a patient is under general anesthesia there is a licensed anesthesiologist in the room monitoring them for the entire procedure.

The doctor works with the patient to give them the smile they want. Open embrasures (aka black triangles) are from gum recession, often from gum disease. Most patients who do this treatment don't want to look like they have gum disease and prefer an "ideal" smile.
