@Midsut1 😞 it's even sad to hear that Blur 2 was actually in development until Activision shut down Bizarre Creations. More reasons to hate Activision 😐
@Dimtrexx_ its not really weird when you consider the fact blur was never actually a profitable game. I enjoyed it personally but it has way too much of a niche fan base to be considered worth it to bother with a second entry
@@swag12344 Craptivision don't put marketing in the game, the game failed in the sales but that don't is a cause to close the studio while are creating the second game.
Blur is a 2010 game by Bizarre Creations and published by Activision. It consists of racing licenced cars, but with powerups and shooting fancy "weapons" at other racers in a Mario Kart-like style, and it's a BLAST in local 4-player split screen multiplayer. This is the main menu music from Blur :D
Jack Mc Gatling Man, people remember that game? haha check out my channel and watch anything Blur related. Back in the beta I was #1 on the boards and i made it to #3 in the full game. :)
I've only been a fan of The Crystal Method for a short while and I still have many more of their songs to listen to but so far they haven't failed to impress me.
That electronic bass line and the way it just makes the song have chill vibe The drums have to be my favorite cuz they glitch out at times but it's catchy I've memorized the glitched pieces so it doesn't feel out of place The lead is the most memorable in the song and plays throughout the song First time I heard this was in the racing game Blur Rest in peace Bizarre studios
I didn't come here through Blur, felt like listening to Crystal Method and then I realized this song is also in Blur. Much co-incidence, many fate. Wow.
the version of this song in the blur game is just the loop of the first minute. i like the song after the 1st minute mark. my favorite part starts at 3:15 from there til the end. the song has a lot of elements in it, if u listen to it with a headset u can hear every individual sounds.
Awesome track! I only listen to it in my car because the bass is the best part, it makes the whole car shake not to mention it's perfect driving, speeding, racing track! For some reason it reminds me of Spitfire by Prodigy. They are not similar but also a great driving track.
I know this from a ps1 game called nitrous oxide; and the flash game cannobalt, one of the first infinite runners, sounds a lot like this as well. Awesome techno song
I brought me here random, but because I played NFS:Underground long time ago, the band name was familiar to me, I think it's time to check this album's tracks! :D
How long was I out? uh... four years and three months. Interesting thing to note, the beats sync up nicely with the seconds on a watch (more fun to see on an analogue watch).
lol i didnt realize i had stay crunchy by ronald jenkees playing at the exact same time it was interesting to hear if i had them at a same tempo and playing on eachother it may sound nice time for virtual dj!
I believe i didn't say this before. I did hear this long ago but only after i created my own music which was when before CM did this. See, the melody I made is just so similar to the bass synth instrument played here except mine was deeper. It begins at 0:23 until 1:07. But after which of Smile, it goes higher a short while and goes to electronic dance beats. Mine, i sampled from Nirvana just on their first guitar riff of Sounds Like Teen Spirit and mixed in with that period of tune mentioned above as the main melody to the entirety of my music. I'm no musician or a pro myself. I just fool with my computer and creativity and whatever heck else in my head goes into 'em to churn out stuff. I was quite surprised to find this music by CM here when i heard it few years after its release. No worries mang. Ain't no copyright feud i'm doing here. There just aren't any to feud for anyhow coz i sampled from another band myself as a total amateur. Hahahaaaaa. Im just glad the melody runs just about the same there with CM's. Some day, soooome day i'd upload and share it. It's been decades since i created it and i can't really remember when i made my breakbeat music.
