I agree with that the game looks cartoony and mobile-ish, I don't know if its just the UI (which I don't like, but it's barebones from what I heard) or if it's the art-style and animations... hope it gets better from here, I think it's a solid foundation. also, haven't really seen the entire video yet, but wouldn't the indicator from the jump straight up not show when on instant casting? I don't know if you changed it individually like you can do in Smite 1, but when on instant casting targetting indicators won't show.

You can get a permanent targeter so you always see how far out your aiming, maybe he's talking about that

Bro. The animators are just not as good as the old ones. There is no weight to the animations.

I think they might not have animation references and just did animations by hand, its still alpha so they might change it in the future they do need references for the animations for sure to make it look more organic, everything looks floaty at the moment

From what I’m hearing it sounds like there’s too much weight to the animations and abilities, like he’s saying he feels like he’s playing under water. Opinions have been very conflicting at the moment
