One of the "smallest" things that I'm super excited for is NO MORE PISS YELLOW CC IMMUNITY I can't wait to see all the amazing ult transformations and designs that get completely ruined by the CC immunity yellow glow that covers the entire character. Vamana, cthulu, anhur, anubis, ymir, hades, SCYLLA, etc. You'll actually be able to SEE the design of those abilities and animations without ruining it immersion
LITERALLY. And it's been proven before that they don't need this bright ugly yellow cc. Scyllas crossover skin does not use this CC immune yellow and everyone still realizes they are cc immune. It looks so much better.
@seebassteterismaster7879 I remember back in season 3 or something, they tried a change using the health and mana bar over each character to display that kind of information. If immune to damage the health bar would have a bright border around it with an image signifying the health can't be changed. If CC immune the entire border and background of the health bar would glow that gold color. I actually liked that change, thought it made it easier to process all the information mid-fight. but the change didn't last very long. They got rid of it only after just one month or so 😅 Would be cool to see something similar to that again.
it make me turn off the video. all of them are clueles. Do they talk bout any real issues? like how they have been ignoring 70% of their play base for last 5 years? EU the biggest region, Arena the most popular gamemode, Console and International palyers. all they had to do was to build on top of it, add clans and tournaments. no, but instead they removed a lot of content from the game like Clash siege and Arena ranked.... smite has one oft he most divided community out there and new engine wont fix that. no matter how much effort they put into SMITE 2. apparently they would rather see the game diii e then add old fun gamemodes back into match of the day rotation or add ranked leaderboard, rewards for Arena fans. we have 6 year old ARENA map!!! . no tournaments... Conquest isnt much better.. handpicked spl players, no team conquest que, no rewards...
@@Dualities You are so ignorant I feel a little jealous. It's so ironic that you call the devs themselves clueless when you don't know half of what you are talking about. You realize the whole reason why clans were taken away in the first place was because of the old UE3 code? I'm sure you didn't know that, since you seem to form opinions without all the facts. Another huge upgrade that a new engine WILL fix is console issues. Majority of console bugs were stated as unfixable, and will be fixed in smite 2 because of engine itself and the code they are rewriting. Everything that you are complaining about for smite 1 (except maybe ranked arena, boo hoo, it's a casual gamemode) will literally be in or improved apon in smite 2, and has been stated so multiple times.
@@messedupperfect9367 yeah yeah only guys with no experience from smite community belive that. They always blame old engine but didnt fix the game or community in last 5 years. Smite 2 and new engine wont solve deep rooted issues smite community has
Features like will be very important to see at full launch, not just bringing back clans but adding in client features to the menus like tournaments for rewards and more consistent visible ranked reward trees.

I think its so great that devs can work on the game without relying on other departments. We may actually get meaningful reworks to gods who feels off or have issues now that they can iterate on the fly
I love that they show us progress over time, not like a certain company that promised a story mode for their game, and ended up delivering something disappointing.. (Blizzard 👀)
what prpogress lol? Do they talk bout any real issues? like how they have been ignoring 70% of their play base for last 5 years? @@Dualities They could address it by saying words, (Blizzard approach) or they can take steps in the right direction. Off the top, SPL is no longer completely closed off. They're having more events where anybody can step up to the plate and try to get into SPL play. Other things are a bi-product of gamers and game-time available vs actual problems. Arena being the most popular isn't a problem, and arena not having a ranked mode isn't either. It makes sense that the short game-mode gets played most, when most gamers only have 2 hours a week to play. It makes sense to not have a ranked mode for arena, because arena is inherently uncompetitive, as the gameplay systems are designed around conquest, and arena strips back the complexity and incentivizes really stupid play. What it really sounds like is you're upset that the devs don't cater towards you and your desire because you feel like some aspects of truth mean they objectively should cater towards you. In reality though, whether you like it or not, Smite is based on conquest. That's what they balance around, doing anything other than side mode shifts like disabling certain starters and relics and such is just a really good way to have the entire game be unbalanced. If you were right about what "Real issues" are, the game would actually be dead. Not "OH MA GOD THE GAME HAS LOWER PLAYERS THAN IT USED TO DEAD GAME LOLOLOL." Like servers would be shut off, game would've actually closed. At the end of the day, you're just salty because there's change, and you don't like that the change doesn't actively solve the problems you personally have with the game. Problems which are at worst petty, and at best symptomatic of the problems they are addressing. Please actively try to use your brain and look at a situation with nuance other than self centered bias.
or they can do with smite 2 whatever they want and fix smite 1. they could even make community polls where players would vote for changes like runescape did . problem is many community members are banned in smite official community, reddit etc so idk@@BombShot
KA should totally have a classic glad shield effect when his energy for his ult is maxed.. just saying Aye I got some people that agree with me, what??! Lol
I am also not a huge fan of Anhur's model. He looks like a slightly terrifying version of some sort of children's figure. I could picture him in the FNAF world or something haha
would have been cool if they just made anubis ult a giant skeleton hand that either smashed an area causing knock down or forms a fist that comes out of the ground and does knockup also would be cool if chaac rain caused grass to grow where its raining and that is what slowed everyone in it
First, sorry for my english! Second, do you have any information about the aim? Because in the most videos of gameplay about Smite 2, i see the aim moving only in sides, but not upper or down! Do you have information if it is official?
Highly recommend for “King Arthur” for his ultimate they rework the resetting like let me keep what I built up OR at least if I’m full give me the stun off respawn that alone would change Arthur DRASTICALLY
The more CC a game has, the less fun it is, removing Anubis' stun was a step in the right direction. I mean, shouldn't damage focused characters not have CC?
Personally, I was barely even upset about the Skin transfer issue from smite 1-2, I was more worried about the monotony of having a comparatively small amount of god choices to current smite. Hearing the Devs explain that re-building the characters from the ground up with newer tech would be significantly faster has me a little at ease, but I'd like to see how fast they can keep the reintroducing the characters when the test/betas drop.
Beta launch is planned for mid-late 2024, so yeah. We'll see how long beta will last. Anything between 6M-1y is my estimate. Smite 1 closed+open beta lasted like two years.
Honestly expecting game to flop tbh The Neith + Bell remodels are already getting flak, confidence is at an extreme low, skins in Smite 1 are being pumped out to sell for Smite 2 to float, not all gods available and nobody has their skins in Smite 1, which depending on who you ask range from "I'm ok with it" to "never again"
@@TheKnightOfSmite I honestly disagree with basically all of that. From what I've seen in different discussions and comments in several platforms, it would take A LOT to ignore the hype and excitement present overall, I really don't know where you get the low confidence from... The remodel criticism is rather mild so far, the skin carryover complaints have calmed down by now since the angriest minority have said their piece and left... And fewer gods at launch can at least be seen in a positive light when introducing the game to new players, I've already seen many other people mentioning that. The "I'm ok with it" -crew is rather large. I choose to be optimistic - the deep dives are lovely, and the hype and excitement I've been feeling towards Smite 2 is simply fun.
If you can do all these new different and great things on smite 2 that you couldn’t/would take longer on smite why are they keeping smite 1 open? Wouldn’t it just hinder smite 2?
My guess is to give people more time to migrate. To keep the player involvement and participation alive, and more chances to give players more incentives to eventually move over to the new game. I don't think they'll keep Smite 1 alive for terribly long after S2 launch. Life support, maybe. But no new gods or big updates or events. They used the wording "foreseeable future": this wording for Nintendo meant just one year, lmao(cri).
Dude i hope you have been sleeping well its been a while since ive seen your face and I am sorry if its upsetting to hear But your eyes look tired I hope your taking care of yourself and not over working yourself
@@SaintSpecter it's not so much that they are against it they just require more money and have more strict requirements than everyone else to allow cross progression so my guess is HiRez decided it would be too much more work to get it working on smites ancient code so it's likely never happening but for smite 2 since the only thing you can transfer over is legacy gems you may be able to find out from support if HiRez would transfer legacy gems.
@@SaintSpecter Sony upcharges a games microtransactions and takes a pretty big fee for your game to have cross progession and play. If the studio doesn't want to pay sonys expensive pointless fee then sony says no
I had no clue neither was the most popular. Im diamond so maybe thats why. But even in casual i never see her. I like using her if im carry and am duo queued with a jung for obvious reasons. But thats rare
One shot neith is tough to do without a nu wa and she is awful into a lot of mages people usually play among other things, she's more of a relaxing pick imo
I hate seeing that I don't understand why giving everyone heels. Like Athena goddess of wisdom, strategy running into battle in heels... Now we just need to give Achilles heels lol
As a now 65 star Terra main? Maybe she can FINALLY get a cool skin that make her abilities POP. All of her skins make her abilities look the same in every skin other than igneous. I didn’t even think that maybe the engine they run smite on, makes it harder to release cool skins for her?
That was back then with devs who knew how to go around their spaghetti code. Also, those gods took much less effort to create, just look at their kits and design.
honestly with all the lash over skins, both this game and smite 1 will probably die real quick if they dont change the idea of not transferring skins over. how many people spent hundreds on this shit over the past 10 years, to turn around and say it cant be transferred unless you pay for it again -.- the shit was already a dying game to begin with the past couple years. big kick in the teeth for the people that put time and money into smite

You have many valid concerns. We still dont have enough info on what they are going to do. It's too early. In any case, even tho arena is more popular, smite is ment to be a mobs. They have never liked arena being more popular or having so many casual players. Why would they encourage that? Not saying they are right, just that it make ssense for their vision. They want to bring new people that see smite as a moba
@@Dualities and? It's still a strategy game. Regardless of the map or the variations that can arise, for example clash, joust... Those still have a level of strategy. Arenas dont. Arena is a matter of just dumping your kit.
tell me u know nothing about Arena without telling me. i could say very similar things about this outdated 20 year old DOTA/conquest map that also has many issues. u guys are ignoring 70% of your playerbase and expect good results,. naive@@sofiabruiz17
