I predict the following: Guardian: Yemoja, Ymir, Bacchus, Athena, Ares, Geb, Cthulu, Sobek, Ganesha and a new guardian. Assassin: Loki, Thor, Fenrir, Susano, Pele, Thanatos, Kali, Ne Zha, Hun batz and a new assassin. Mages: Anubis, Kukulkan, Zeus, Nu Wa, Ra, Sol, Nox, Aphrodite, Baron Samedi and Hecate as the new mage. Warrior: Bellona, Chaac, Odin, Hercules, King Arthur, Sun Wukong, Amaterasu, Osiris, Shiva and a new warrior. Hunters: Anhur, Cernunos, Danzaburo, Izanami, Neith, Artemis, Jing Wei, Hou yi, Xbalanqua and Nut will count as the new Hunter. Why is my list the way it is. Something you might spot about my list is that i left out characters that are problamatic such as Freya and Arachne. I also tried to make my predictions to include as many diffrent characters from diffrent pantheons. Thats why for guardians i don't think cerberus and charon are gonna be added because that would be 4 diffrent greek guardians and thats a bit overkill in my opinion for launch. And also a lot of the OG beta characters such as Artemis, Sobek, and Hun Batz. (I am so certain that these 3 will make it in that if they don't i will eat my face!) There are atleast 4 characters that i didn't put in that i also think could make it in easy. That would be Hades, Poseidon, Medusa and Horus. But i personaly hope they revert Hades back into a Guardian and that will take time to think up. The others i think are just not as iconic as some of the others i chose and thats why im benching them.
As loyal player since beta about 10-12 years ago, I’m not sure if I’m so hyped for smite 2. Will arena be taken more seriously in smite 2 and finally get a ranked version? Will skill level determine your opponent’s? Will you be able to talk to everyone and not just your team? Gems cheaper or something? Why is it really worth playing smite 2 beside the new technology upgrade ?
Smite was is on basically a Modified UE3 engine and is pure spaghetti code hence why Morrigan always breaks and so many other bugs but with UE5 all of that gets smoothed out and gets a big overhaul that is much needed
Honestly I think that any god released in year 11 is going to be at launch of Smite 2. I think that they're going to be made in tandem so with at least 1 new god for each class this year and with the 5 new gods at launch there will be only 8 returning gods. They did say that all the gods are going to be ported over in like 2 week intervals so its not going to be an issue. I do think that any god that needs a complete rework might be in the launch those being Freya, Arachnea, and possibly Persephone. Also Poseidon should be at launch. There is not a world I see that in which they do not have a Kraken to really show off the engine.
I believe that too I feel the 5 new gods will be released in Year 11 and Smite 2 which is why apart from hunter with nut i only predicted 9. I FORGOT ABOUT POSEIDON!!! im an idiot
they can also release gods that have a different class, but have the flexibility to play different roles. I would like for them to go more into that aspect.
I reckon some gods might have small reworks or class changes as they did mention potentially chainging anubis' 2 but they didnt make the change so who knows what could happen
Im really hoping that if she isnt a release god, that they'll make short work in re-releasinf Freya. Pretty sure i heard theyre reworking items and how they interract with god kits in Smite 2. It would be really cool to see how Freya interracts with them given she used to be a physical and magic hybrid way back in the day
it's just the same characters with the same abilities it's just like what overwatch did for there second game. I think it's super lazy and a scam so people will buy all the skins that they lost in smite 1.

they said that they wouldn't put Jesus in not just cause of controversy but also cause he wouldn't bring anything to a battle royal style game. however the other figures of Abrahamic mythology such as the archangels and princes of hell would be cool to see.
They will never add a Christian pantheon. They are based in Georgia(United States) and if they tried the entire studio would be shut down. It is in the middle of the 'Bible Belt' which is super religious but not the reasonable kind.
I’m so hyped for this man I really hope people come back and the community isn’t toxic about it like they usually are. I quit smite not because I didn’t enjoy it but it has by far the crummiest and rudest player base ive ever witnessed fr😂
I dont think ares is gonna be a launch god tbh. I think he needs reworks to be sustainable in smite 2. With everyone having beads on top of also cc immune ults and having to build an item that might not be good for him to have blink is going to hurt him a lot. And theres no way ares comes over without some changes
With how they talked about changing anubis' 2 but then didnt I think some gods on release might have some reworks ares could be one who would you have instead?
@MaurrSoulss i think Ganesha. I think he's a super important one to get over early. I'd love for my ares to come early but I just think he needs changing. Ganesha needs nothing. He's fine as is!
@@sakurablu3 HiRez have clearly stated that a number of gods are getting reworks to make them work better with the changes. Ares is definitely the first one getting reworked. Same with Arachne.
@Anirudhji2001 i know that's why I don't think he'll be one of the first cause he'll need some serious love. I also think this is an opportunity to do a common community request to make ares more like the God of war and give his current kit to prometheus. I doubt this'll happen but if it did it'd be now I believe. Either way I don't think he's a first 50
