@@2034niko in this meta it was a lot different, in the early days of smite you could snowball so much easier and even if you trolled once or twice the enemy team didnt have enough farm or obj on the map to even catch up. S1 was all about who controlled mid camps
I remember watching these games live. I was so fucking happy for him and the whole team. That was the best smite I had ever seen. Might still be to this day and it still makes me happy today. "Like taking kid from a candy!" 😂
They should just remake Smite at this point. Too much spaghetti code causing too many issues, and bad servers are making this game feel terrible to play. Smite 2 when?
Adapting is an absolute monster. Ngl though, every member did alot in those team fights. Watching it go down is like they're in perfect harmony or something
I remember watching this. A highschool kid, having started Smite during August of that year; finding out there is a pro league and desparately trying to learn all the player's names and the gods they played. Worlds comes around and then this set. I was in awe that this sort of stuff is even possible. What a fuckin set and what a fucking team Epsilon was. I miss Yammyn and Dimi in the SPL :(
Adapting is the goat but I’ll never get the sound of COG winning in season 1 out of my head. And it was MLC St3alth, the guy who got me into the game, my fucking smite hero lmao
I remember watching this and yes while adapting did great. I think the main reason was because raffer. That guy had some amazing clutch revives and shields for adapting.
Thank you once again for these types of videos. I think this was a great idea and well executed. Sort of like a "greatest sets" but focusing on a player popping off
I remember watching this live and just feeling ripped off with the finals match after watching that C9 Epsilon game. But damn was that some good smite.
That’s true but remember, these teams scrim and study each other all year. They make those bans because they know who is really fearsome to let them get their hands on.
Watching the games live really showed how jung diff they were. Adapting was pretty much no factor in the first three and absolutely went off the last two. There was nothing they could do
Been waiting for you to cover this set. I remember watching this series in my bed room, mesmerised by the pure skill of these teams. Doesn't hurt that there's such a sexy voice over 😉
I honestly think it was the 5 members Inmortal season. Raffer, Emilito and Dimi have never had a better season than that one. And Yammyn in my opinion still to this day is the best mid laner ever. Shame he retired so early.
My mans got both of his Titles in the Community in 2 best of 5s in one Tournament; AdaptKing and Thordapting. He had such a good run in that Tournament, He just Saved the Secret Sauce until it mattered as is Wise to do.
Off topic to this video but i'm begging you to do a history of the Titan Vulcan skin someday. PrettyPrime deserves more respect, even just for the fact he is untiltable.
I would love to see season 3 Orbit Vs Flashpoint, the game that sent Luminosity to worlds. That game had me on the edge of my seat because Orbit didn't even need to try their hardest, they were already eliminated, but they gave it their all.
That Bellona ult by dimi was so huge at 13 minutes made Emiil be able to pull of all his damage and allow adapting to mop all the carries cuz cloud 9 panicked
