HONESTLY!!!! They just showed us a flashy video then said Tsukiyomi will punish everyone no matter what. Literally no context. What does any of that mean? I know literally nothing about this god after the video :(

Pretty sure they still put the lore in the actual lore tab when you can play ot view the god in god builder, but I get your point. My only counter arguement is people used to complain about the lore videos when they wanted to know the actual storyline of the game rather than of the gods they already knew about. I think when less well known deitys and Mythological characters began to crop up was when people became interested in lore. Like with Baron's release. Then again though they don't always cover all of or the correct interpretation of lore for certain gods. Like Ne zha for example.... pretty sure Ne zha's lore is alot deeper and slightly more graphic than what Smite has in their lore tab. Though gotta give credit for how they made a joke of Zeus' lore about his affair with mortal woman well he's transformed into an animal in Hera's reveal trailer. Ultimately they aren't just doing purely accurate to old mythology. They are kinda pulling a God of War in a way. Interpreting the gods and creatures with facts and information from their real world mythos well also taking their own spin on the gods. Though I liked the change in direction with the introduction of Arthurian (Even though I think it should have been Anglo Saxon rather than Arthurian since Arthurian will limit them for possible characters to create.) They put a twist on characters and lore and made it more of the fact that belief and faith empowered the gods with their power. Yeah Arthur, Merlin and other creatures may not be literal Gods, but the belief of normal humans and mortals in their legends and myths is what empowers and puts them all in the same Category. Idk I like and dislike how they are handling it, but so far its working out for them and Smite, though I feel they should make an actual official story list or lore video surrounding the lore and events. But its Hi Rez at least they are giving Smite more of a chance to shine and grow unlike their other games. Love Paladins, but dang that game is like early Smite, its bare at times. Lol

@@francisharkins even if it isn't completely accurate, it's better than the disappointing of a lore section they have in the recent god reveals. I don't really look forward to them anymore

Is what they did with putting Vulcano instead of Hephaestus and Ares instead of Mars... also I mean It would be like putting Greek gods without Zeus... or Norse ones without Odin... See my point? :) And Izanagi is the equivalent of those so i would prefer him to appear :) I mean they even would need to put Cornus, not Chronos who is actually a titan and father of Gods alongside Rhea...

You're right, however because Chronos and Kronus have been confused for so long, for literally well over 2000+ years, I think they just decided to make them one being in the smite verse. Or, Kronus will potentially be a later release however that's highly unlikely because well, Chronos exists in smite and they wouldn't want the two getting mixed up I suppose. Plus, Kronus was the titan of harvest and stuff like that, I don't think they would be able to do much about it

Actually true. My team was 1v4'd by a Tsukuyomi without hot and we couldn't do a single thing to stop him. He literally walks forward and kills you. The only counter to him is staying inside the fountain.

Watching son play in a game where enemy Tsukiyomi had 30 kills, and son's team Tsukiyomi had 24 kills. Just a little broke. 😅

@@flyany6682 neith yes, artemis isn't safe she has no escape besides her ult which you shouldn't be using for an escape in the first place and being able to ensnare people with her traps quickly isn't noob stuff here's a list of Hunters, Neith, apollo, chiron, cupid, izanami and medusa. Those are great starters for you ....mages Sol, nu wa, change, vulcan, ra, discordia and ah puch. These gods have heals or escape or even both and its really hard to fail with these goods starting off in low level game play. I would stay away all together from assassin warriors and supports starting off especially in conquest, things will get toxic pretty quick for you. Good luck friend.

you can always go to the god menu and read it in game, this is a quick summary of what he can do in game which is what most of us are here for, we re at over 110 plus now need quick summary that way we can counter

They're called caltrops. They're little bits of barbed wire that ninjas would drop to deter enemies from coming after them. Of course because Tsukuyomi is the god of the moon, they're now made of stars instead of barbed wire
