just played my first couple games in 4 months yesterday and man do I regret that. I played 4 games yesterday and I was met with 2 of the most toxic players I have seen to date, a game with three teammates leaving, and the other as a normal game no bad or good players just playing and not chatting much. man its one of the reasons I stopped playing smite and to come back and be met with the amount of toxicity is just crazy. I expected some maybe from the console players but nope they were pretty chill, its was the pc players raising hell. i received my first ever notification for being reported yesterday after playing smite for 4 years with no problems.

Anyone else notice he didn't use arcane stance once?

I love that you admit your mistakes and explain what mistakes you made. Helps me learn since right now I'm too scared to leave Arena mode. Maybe eventually I'll move into other modes with your videos as guides. Just one question: which lane is the solo lane in this game?

i hate playing with randos and every other person on my team are in the same clan, when i played solo i got blamed for not helping 10minutes in when they fed every lane including the jungler and the other teams solo never even rotated or got ganked but it was somehow still my fault

You should do Loki adc just to show them you’re better at their own strats

Merlin fire is fair because when your in fire all your opponent has to do is stay out of basic attack range/All in or wait for your abilities to go down.

Book of Thoth and doom orb work really well together, doom orb is really expensive but when you combo them you get the power from the item and the mana it provides as well as little movement.

I'd prefer Bancroft's over Book of the Dead. It gives mana for the Book of Thoth, and life steal is insane from how high Merlin's damage is. Also, you should try out Arcane stance more. The 1-2 combo with Gem of Isolation actually one shots squishy targets.

I just started playing Merlin myself. You don’t seem to me using arcane much. If you arcane cc them with 2 throw in a 1 while running in range to ult rotate into a fire 1. One of my favorite combos

At 36:33 the remark about your teammates being on the four corners of the map, the two in the right jungle/lane were true. But the two people in left were aiming to push left due to it being the lowest phoenix at the time. I was at purple trying get the void buff to prep for the last fight. I personally dont think it was a bad choice in positioning since 3 of my teammates were not engaging. Besides that, pretty nice video.

I understand that your Loki was a brick and your teammates aren’t the best, but since you already know that as a fact, you probably shouldn’t teleport into the Ymir and chang’e by yourself and expect a good outcome. If your team was good they might capitalize on that, but since you already know they were bad I don’t know what you were expecting. The reason why you won the last push is because you adapted your play style to be way more passive which was a must.

I played Merlin into Chang'e recently but it was really hard to try bring her down but eventually I outsmarted her and help our team get fg and win the game.

How are you switching stances between ONLY Fire and Ice? For me, it rotates between all 3 in a set pattern and I cannot choose what stance it switches too, i.e. you gotta be in Void stance for 33% of the time, yet you are Ice or Fire the entire game. PC-player as well, so I am curious how you do this.

I've never played Merlin and quite new to the game in general, was just wondering it seems like you're able to avoid switching to the purple stance, wondering how you do that?

Have you tried triple life steal on him? Bancroft, Pytha and Typhon, does puts him at around 680 damage with his core items of spear, CD boots and gem

is ranked any better than casuals? Been playing for 5 years and I'm considering quitting Smite because I just can't handle incompetent teammates. Played six games in a row tonight where I was the only one who had any business playing conquest. Matchmaking has always been frustrating, but crossplay has just exacerbated matchmaking's flaws to such a degree that I just can't enjoy playing Smite anymore. Can anyone help me with this? I really don't want to have to stop playing Smite, it's the only video game I play. I just can't deal with this anymore. It's beyond frustrating.

Bancroft+fire stance OP. A lot of times I can turn on ppl when I have low health and the cc from stance switch plus 1 and 2 shreds when they're expecting an easy clean up And why no arcane stance? I don't think I saw you use it the whole match. Crazy effective when team fighting

The trash school thing happened to me to I went to a really bad 6th grade gehtto city school then switched to a country school in 7th and it stunned me how bad the people back in my old school had it and was missing out
