Anyone who dislikes this has no taste in music. This song is masterfully done and is one of the best acoustic songs I have ever heard. Can’t wait for more songs from these two to come out.

Driving home from a long trip, I heard this song for the first time today. I had to pull over and close my eyes to just absorb the beauty and purity of the lyrics from a fantastic vocalist and equally great guitar player. So simple, yet powerful. This is a throwback to what music was. When you felt the goosebumps, when you got a tear in your eye, when it was real. Thank you S&M for this beautiful track now added to my collection.

These guys are the real thing..I had the honor of catching them live in Memphis at the New Daisy and I finally got the pleasure of catching Shinedown in Little Rock Arkansas on Attention Attention..I'm 54 years old and I have had a long amazing thing that I call my life...Thank you Brent Smith for your gift of lyrical strength and I can honestly say that I wouldn't be alive to thank you brother if not for the music you guys give the world and A Shinedown song ..many of them so many times gave me what it took to continue this life and not take myself out and you also gave me the strength and motivation to battle a 42 year active addiction which I am 19 months into Recovery from.. Pretty sure this song has been on my local rock station since its release. I'll freely admit this week was the first one where I really paid attention to the lyrics (my radio is normally background noise). I have had a rough time these past few months knowing and understanding that the pandemic is as bad as it is in the U.S. because our government didn't take strong action soon enough, seeing the peaceful and sometimes less peaceful protests against police brutality, and not to mention January 6, for which there has hardly been justice dealt. And yet my brother had the gall to tell me to stop watching news, to stop listening to politics, and to let it all go because I could not hold back my anger and frustration and he didn't want me to share it with him anymore. The afternoon after he said that, I heard "Not Mad Enough" and listened to its lyrics with renewed interest. I felt... called out... vindicated, I suppose. I push every day to get through a mishandled pandemic that should have been over in a month or two working a job where I am among the public. I get my second dose of vaccine next Saturday so that the beast will not take my life or livelihood, but I am outraged at the deaths that have been suffered unnecessarily to get to this point. I feel for every demonstrator to whom it mattered so greatly that they make themselves seen and heard during the protests this past summer that they would risk exposure to Covid-19. America needs some time, some leadership, and plenty of change in order to heal.
