It would be nice if they came out with a slightly beefier model to handle the s&w 500 mag that way you have a revolver and carbine lever gun for their 500 mag cartridge

It will very likely prove to be a quality lever gun. The flat trigger looks odd to me, as I am used to Marlins.

I'm buyin the 357 and mount my 357 S&W pistol to the lock slots for a nice forearm handle 😁 imagine that 😎 cool I did that to a small caliber and looks and feels right

@@charlessalmond7076 it has to have some kinda safety on it. for legal reasons. obviously some guys modify their rifles which removes the blame from the manufacturer. the crossbolt is likely the cheapest way to make it drop safe . I don't use the safety on my lever guns and I usually don't carry one in the chamber so it doesn't bother me. I've had old marlins that didn't have the safety and they were ok too.

If they made this with more traditional lines and put it in 500 I’d be interested. Jurassic World ruined lever actions with all the tacticool aesthetics

Picc rail looks absolutely rediculous on a lever action rifle. Yuk. It no doubt a fine rife. 1854? How is that apropriate? The henery and first winchesters didnt come out till early cival war 1861? How the heck is 1854 appropriate? SOMEONE TELL ME.
