SMKW Get to the Point: Cold Steel Code 4 

I like the Code 4 so much that I bought two in different blade configurations. Crazy sharp, rock solid lock and great edge retention. The slim profile makes the Code a pleasure to carry.

Awesome knife. At first I didnt like the smooth aluminium but after buying and handling it, its fine. 1. Reality is that its not that big 2. It is VERY slim and light so negates some if the size 3. As with all CS pocket clips, they are super tight and a little flat for some. I just bent the edge up a bit 4. TriAd locks are strong but stiff. Leave it open at 90deg overnight a few times. Loosens it up. Done. You have a Perfect EDC instead of pocket jewelry

I like it be a good EDC knife cold steel knifes the blades are sharp got 1 cold steel blue handles it's a lockback in the middle compact and blades is small and thick it sharpen back quick and extremely sharp, thanks for video Andy,

For sure I would carry it, after I removed the pocket clip and added a lanyard.

I would love it but with a G10 handle. Th aluminum handle is too slim/slippery for my XXL hands.

Part of my EDC rotation. It is old reliable. When something calls for a big knife I reach for this one or my AD 15.

Great knife I carry mine all the time. Of course mine is the xhp version. That is not a big knife it carries like all coldsteel you never know it’s there

Really Like the code 4. Torn between drop or clip point

Having mine and it is my favourite EDC after american lawman and voyager tanto xl. This knife is very hard to flick open, maybe it is a safety feature as the handle is smooth and it is dangerous to flick open when the knife is wet in kitchen scenario. I put snaggletooth on it for quick open when i draw it out from the pocket. Great hollow grind with shallow kitchen knife like angle. Came shaving sharp. This is the only cold steel i have that don't ruin my pocket. Easiest to be closed. Nice and slim, My friends love to borrow this knife too!

Is it true that CS has addressed the notoriously slick Code 4 Al handles?

Cold Steel = BIG...If I had a need for a larger knife then sure....an EDC every single day, probably not.
